and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
We were made Kings…
What does it take to be a king?
a. You are either took over a kingdom
or;
b. You are appointed

What does it take to be a priest?
a. You are either born into the
priesthood or;
b. You are chosen to be a priest

appointed by the God we serve
a. God has given us the Spirit of
Power
i. Physical - King
ii. Spiritual - Priest
4. Now that you heard from the Lord it is time to take action on the Counsel of the Lord
a. Human perspective
i. Priests hears from the Lord and
tells the King… the King then
actions the God-said
b. Kingdom of God
i. You are Priest… so you must
hear the counsel of the Lord
ii. You are Kings… so you must act
on His counsel
The call of the Lord on our lives is to
Hear His counsel
In His might action the counsel
Power of God is the ability to surrender. It is the ability to say Yes to His will.

It is making a decision for Him with nothing in return
It is the ability to die to yourself as He makes Himself greater
Clothe Yourself

You must decide to dress yourself as Priest
You must decide to dress yourself as a King
According to Luke 7 what you wear tells on you
“But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment.
And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.
The King of kings will be checking your garments
Showing up not dressed for the part is not an option
Your outfit will tell on you…
church look at yourself what are you wearing? Who are you?
it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
We call ourselves the bride of Christ…We have been granted the ability to CLOTHE yourself
Put on the fine linen which is a base layer to Priest and Kings
Righteous deeds - our deeds are as filthy rags… the deeds in Christ are the deeds of righteousness
Works apart from His will are dead… Clothing the self is putting on His will
Kings are clothed in righteousness and glory… Priests are clothed in in glory and righteousness
His word declares we are to be more than Hearers of His word… we are to be doers of His word… YOU HEARD IT…NOW DO IT…
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
Putting on the Lord Jesus Christ is the work of saying YES to His will
Putting on the Lord Jesus Christ is the work of surrendering the self to His Will
Heb 8 tells us we can trust Him…
Clothe yourself in the power of the Lord … its your surrender
He Gives You the Power to Do His Will
He Gives You the Power to Do His Will
Power to glorify the King
Your testimony testifies of Him
The Son says I testify of my Father
The Holy Spirit will testify of the Son and of the Father
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
You are a chosen generation… you were chosen… today if there is breath in your lungs… you are the chosen generation
You are a Royal Priesthood… you serve the living God… you serve the King of Kings
You are a Holy Nation… the Christian Body is a Holy Nation
HIS OWN SPECIAL PEOPLE… you are His
Its not just for you, you serve the KING of Kings
not for your comfort
it does not say for your luxury
it does not say to do whatever you want
it is to testify of the Him… Proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His Marvelous light
Your life will yield a testimony what is it going to testify of… will it testify of your comfort and luxury or will it tell of His greatness
what clothes are you wearing… does it tell of how its all about you… or does it tell of the life surrendered to the WILL OF THE FATHER

Our Lord and King Jesus Christ heard the counsel of the Lord that He was to die on the cross
Hearing it was one thing to action it was another.
Can we say He wanted to die on the cross?
There He is in the Garden of Gethsemane
Father if it is possible… take this cup from me
in other words… is there another way?
He had counted the cost on both sides
If I do not do this the cost is to the whole of humanity… I can have my way I am God I do not need to go to the cross
But for the Love of us in the giving of MY life they will LIVE
