David was chose by God because he had a heart for God

He repented of his sins and wanted to be right with God.

God does not seek perfection. He seeks faithfulness

Jeremiah 18:1–6 ESV

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will let you hear my words.” So I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was working at his wheel. And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do. God is not choosing you because we are perfect

John 15:16 ESV

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

God did not die for a few gifted people

God choice you. BUT WILL YOU CHOOSE HIM
