Communion:
At one time or another, we all have had that one thing (IT) that seems to keep us from moving forward in our lives and the life God wants us to have. That one sin, that one habit, that one regret, that one IT.
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

Everything that hinders our progress
When holding on to “IT” it is a sin. Why are you still holding on to “IT”?
Why we hold onto it. The hoarders mentality.
What are you holding onto that what is weighing you down? - weight vest?
The first step is to admit there is a “IT”. - Name it.
Get to the root of “IT”.
