NextGen Recap 2024
Our goal for 2024 was to build personal relationships, help teens discover their God given
talents and use them to serve God and to have them understand the principles in Gods word and apply them to their life.
Also to create an atmosphere where teens would experience the anointing and power of God.
We made it a point to attend multiple events throughout the year to accomplish our goal such as:
* Multiple youth conferences
* Worship Nights
* Themed Sunday services
* Group "You version” bible plans
* Gym Nites
* Cafe Nites
* Road trip Sundays
* Serve Sundays
Beach trip
All with the focus of building relationships and presenting the truth of Gods word in a fun and
exciting way.
This years mission trip for Nextgen was to the Dream Center in L.A.,
NextGen raised over
$40,000 dollars through community outreaches and donations. We brought a team of 30 teens and leaders to serve in the streets of Los Angelos. It was truly a life changing experience for all of our teens.
Our teens boldly proclaimed the good things the Lord has done during the teen takeover service the day after we returned!
God did some incredible things throughout the year. I am thankful for the awesome leadership
team God has put under my care and I take that responsibility very seriously.
Thank you for your trust and support throughout the year!

Small Groups:
With over 20 steady groups throughout the year, small groups continue to be an important part of reaching and impacting the lives of many.
Some of the highlights in our small groups this year were:
Thursday Night Lights, the Men's group that meets every Thursday night, was able to put together a community outreach: the Great Giveaway. This event blessed so many in the community with free winter wear.
Thrive Women's Group which meets every Thursday night has seen wonderful growth both spiritually and physically, as there have been reported healings within the group as a result of their prayers and meetings.
Co-Ed Volleyball has shown tremendous growth in a short time.
it launched this past October and has quickly grown to an average of 20+ attendees each week. Held on Wednesday nights at 7pm, this group provides fun, exercise, fellowship, and an opportunity to welcome people from the community into our church. It’s been inspiring to see God working through something as simple as volleyball, with participants connecting to other small groups and attending Sunday services. We are excited to see how God continues to bless this ministry!
The Text.the.Word group has grown to 90 members, blending young and old believers, locals, and snowbirds, and has hosted quarterly luncheons with an average of 22 attendees, fostering fellowship and spiritual growth. These gatherings provide opportunities to share Bible verses and testimonies. Alongside this, over 100 members participate in weekly small groups, building community, unity, and faith. The organizer extends heartfelt thanks to God and blessings for a peaceful New Year.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
Come Alive In 25
This year I am believing God for a year to get the Fire (passion back) going in our lives.
Many times in our Christian walk and being in this world, we can get dry and we need a refueling and I believe that’s we’re church, devotional, Bible reading and prayer come in.
In 2 Tim 1:6 Paul is encouraging young Timothy to stir up what God has placed within him.
2 Timothy 1:6 (NKJV) 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
This life has a way of coming against our spiritual lives and if we don’t take time to re connect or as we’re saying here, bring the fire back, we can go backwards in our faith.
I want 2025 to be a year that we “Come Alive In 25”. A year to get the fire going in our lives to get the passion that we had.
Even King David had to pray for that fire to stay hot. When he backslide with Bathsheba, he had to get going with God again and in his prayer of Repentance, one of the verses says:
Psalm 51:12: (NKJV) "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit."
But he did and became the greatest king of Israel and I believe that can be for us also.
Psalm 63:1 (NKJV) "O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water."
Church family it is easy to grow weary, even Paul saw it in the early church and said:
Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Galatians 6:9 (TPT) 9 And don’t allow yourselves to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming!
As we take time, no matter how much or little and give it to God, He will multiply it in our lives.
We as a church would like to help you in this and here is how.
#1. Read through the New Testament together with the You Version
#2. Join us on You-Tube, Facebook or instagram for a short time of prayer: CFFCNJ.
#3. We’re putting together a daily online growth time, were we are going to put out 5 days a week a short video of the Sunday service and a short devotion with Application questions to go along with the message so we can keep growing all week.
I hope this short time of going over the Sunday service 5 days a week will make the word come more alive in us.
I want us to Come More Alive in 2025 and we can do it with a daily time of prayer and the word.
