Introduction

1 Peter 3:4 “But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”

Isaiah 43:7 “Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.”

The Great Price of the Hidden Man is said to be a meek and quiet spirit. This meek and quiet spirit reveals an individual who isn’t concerned with their own self-importance. They speak of one who is gentle, lowly, humble & considerate, not at all loud or bossy. A person with a Meek & Quiet spirit isn’t self-willed towards God nor do they have an ill-will towards man. God makes great reckoning of a quiet mind, because it is like Himself. He promised the earth to the meek, and heaven to the incorrupt and pure in heart.
