Robin Denise Parker Polk, 59 of Pearl, MS passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at her residence in Pearl, MS. She was born Tuesday, February 9, 1965 in Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, California.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Summerland Baptist Church in 80 SCR 28-4, Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11:00AM at Summerland Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Eric Estes and Bro. Dennis Ellingburg will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564.
Robin was a 1983 graduate of Taylorsville High School.  She graduated Jones Jr. College before joining the workforce.  She attended Truitt Baptist Church in Pearl where she taught three and four year old Sunday school and fifth and sixth graders on Wednesday nights.  Robin loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking and doting over her girls.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe C. Parker;  father-in-law, Herman Polk;  mother-in-law, Willie Rae Polk;  brother-in-law, Mark Sullivan.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Polk of Pearl, MS;  daughters, Kallie Polk and Kelby Polk;  mother, Annie Rose Townsend Parker;  sisters, Karen Hollingsworth (Tony) and Sherry Sullivan;  nephews, Jody Blakeney (Ashley), Justin Hollingsworth and Dylan Hollingsworth;  nieces, Meagan Williamson, Morgan Morris (Heath) and Nikki Hollingsworth;  and a host of  great-nieces and nephews..
Pallbearers will be Jody Blakeney, Dylan Hollingsworth, Drake Williamson, Heath Morris, Doug Clark, and Stanley Blakeney.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Polk, Dylan Morris, and Bobby Ainsworth.
