Planning center is free for its directory purposes (People)

(Mail chimp, is how the church gets a hold of people initially to get people to sign in and update the planning center data base)

list creator is great inside planning center for data base of people… this is a great function of how to use people in the church.

Travis uses the directory as a means for the Elders to see what the people are doing, phone number contacts,

The data is stored on a cloud

Church center (APP) is the front end church directory for those who attend the church. People who gain access through approval of the Elders can then the church members can choose what information they want to change. And at anytime someone can change their information immediately. (This is totally free!!!!!) (the directory is kept from the general public)

The manageability is great… however since the app is so powerful it can be somewhat complicated at times. A little bit of computer know how to do this.

Travis’s church pays for the text messaging feature ($5 a month for sending a text with a phone number)

good to get peoples permission to send a text. (Travis did this through the app for people to sign up for)

He was able to send a text message to 86 people at the same time yesterday (Monday 1/6/2025 ---He uses the text as a sparing important message

Background checking is great through this stuff. Anybody that is working with people under the age of 18 has to have a background check

Music team should consider going to the use of worship
