Christians Married to Christians:
Christians Married to Christians:
Coming off of Chapter 5+6 we see that the church of Corinth was polluted heavily with sexual sin
in chapter 5 Paul addresses a man who was involved in sleeping with his Step mother
This man and his sin had been excused and overlooked within the defiled church
And if you remember sin overlooked, sin that has not been addressed , is agreeing with the sin
So essentially the church was okay with this man living in sin because they were too prideful to address the issue
then in ch 6 starting in vs 12 Paul addresses the Human body, Just because we can do what ever we want with our bodies does not mean we should
we should not become slaves to anything here on earth including Sexual sin
our bodies are made for the Lord and the Lord is the one who cares about our bodies
Our bodies are Parts of Christ, and to Join our bodies to something Sexually immoral is something we Christian believers should stay far away from
When we Sin Sexually we attach ourselves to that very thing. This attachment that happens is only something that should be done in marriage with a spouse. A husband or a wife .
We are to Glorify God with our Bodies and our sprit because we were Bought at a Price
