· 4 viewsWhen we have no life, we listen to the preaching of God’s Word. A re-revealing of the truth. Then God provides His breath (this ruach, double meaning of breath and Spirit). Galatians 3:2 says plainly that the Spirit was received not by works of the law, but by the “hearing of faith.” In other words, “the preaching of the gospel, begetting faith in them, enabled them to receive the Spirit.” - Jonathan Leman

v.15-23 The LORD will establish His Kingdom and save His people
God established His kingdom by
His Word by the obedience of his people (the sticks, maybe wooden writing tablets) We can be saved from our wicked ways and saved from our defilement (pure desire) We believe in that "Blessed Hope", the personal, imminent, pre-tribulation, and pre millennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones.
We believe that Christ’s second coming will be “pre-tribulational” and “pre-millenial.” That is, that the church will be caught up to be with Christ prior to the great tribulation and will return with Him to rule on the earth in a 1000 year kingdom after the seven year tribulation. (Daniel 9:27, 12:1; Jeremiah 30:7; Matthew 24:15-31, 25:31-46; II Thessalonians 2:7-12; Revelation 16:1-19, 21, 19:1-21; Deuteronomy 30:1-10; Isaiah 11:1-16, 65:17-25; Ezekiel 37:21-28; Revelation 19:11, 20:1-6) Verse 23 - I will be their God

v.28 The LORD will establish the nations and sanctify His people
Salvation - one-time event, soul was saved from hell (similar to backsliding and returning, but not the same- Justin’s testimony) Sanctify or Sanctification - an everyday formation and spiritual revival (must include the preaching and prayer)
The work of revival is God’s work from start to finish. If man plays any part in it himself, it is only in obedience to God’s direction. Spiritual revival is God’s work alone to willing and obedient hearts. Ezekiel 36:26-27 says, “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” Our Response
Today is the day of the LORD - trust in Him today We tell the nations by beginning with those next door NAMB “Who’s your One?”
