Introduction

Ephesians 3:20–21 AMP
20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— 21 To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
SO BE IT!
Luke 1:37 NKJV
37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
PRAYER - in the heart of Ephesians 3:20-21 there is an expectation of prayer, hoping, desiring & dreaming
What are you believing for in 2025?
What are you praying for?
QUOTE - “The men upon whose shoulders rested the initial responsibility of Christianising the world came to Jesus with one supreme request. They did not say, ‘Lord, teach us to preach’; Lord, teach us to do miracles,’ or ‘Lord, teach us to be wise’…but they said, ‘Lord, teach us to pray.’” Billy Graham
Breakthroughs

list goes on ……all happen as a response to prayer

1. We need to pray

Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV
3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Prayer is the channel through which God reveals His power and purposes.
ANGELIQUE
Prayer brings me into alignment with the will of God - changes my focus & perspective
Prayer reminds me of the victories God has done in the past
Prayer connects me to God’s purposes
Prayer activates the word hidden in my heart
Prayer wakes up the warrior within - Joel 3 - wake up the warrior men and warrior women
2 Corinthians 10:4–5 NKJV
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
Prayer elevates my limited thinking into the realm of faith and possibility
Something happens when we pray…..personal testimony (When I begin to pray)
Pray in the lows
Pray in the highs
Pray your family
Teach your kids to pray
Pray for salvations
Pray for protection
Pray for opportunities
Pray for wisdom
Pray for your church family
Pray prophetically - prophesy
Etc etc…………
Pray for eyes to see the impossible made possible

2. We need to partner with Holy Spirit in prayer

Holy Spirit amps up our prayer!
Romans 8:26–27 NKJV
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Wake up and say “Good morning Holy Spirit”
MONICA - TESTIMONY
Even when situations seem impossible, the Spirit strengthens and guides our prayers.
Holy Spirit Aligns Our Prayers with God’s Will
1 John 5:14-15 – "If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."
The Holy Spirit takes our human desires and aligns them with God’s perfect purposes, transforming what seems impossible into reality.
Holy Spirit Inspires Faith for Miracles
Mark 11:23-24 – "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."
The Holy Spirit empowers us to believe that mountains can move through faith-filled prayer.
It has been said, “Prayer is asking for rain. Faith is carrying the umbrella.”
Holy Spirit Speaks to us
John 16:13 NKJV
13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
As we pray, the Holy Spirit may prompt us with thoughts, scriptures, or impressions. Taking time to listen allows us to hear Holy Spirit.

3. We need to pray bold prayers

People need us to pray
We need to pray bold prayers
Just as a child has no hesitation to ask their parent - we need to come boldly
Matthew 7:9–11 NKJV
9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
James 5:13–18 NKJV
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
Bold prayers result in bold faith
Bold prayers inspire bold actions. They align our hearts with the courage to step out in faith, knowing we are co-laborers with God in the process.
When we pray big, we often position ourselves to take bold steps toward the outcomes we're praying for.
These prayers push us to think beyond ourselves and consider God's broader purpose for our lives and the lives of others.
They remind us that God’s plans often exceed human expectations, encouraging us to seek not just comfort, but real transformation and impact.
Bold prayers often inspire others around us. They demonstrate faith and encourage others to trust God for greater things in their lives.
Team come up and play Goodness of God
