Brethren, we ought to learn—and learn it very soon—that it is much better to have God first and have God Himself even if we have only a thin dime than to have all the riches and all the influence in the world and not have God with it!
Matthew 6:33; Matthew 16:24–26
I Talk Back to the Devil, 26.
A. W. Tozer
For in Christ he offers all happiness in place of our misery, all wealth in place of our neediness; in him he opens to us the heavenly treasures that our whole faith may contemplate his beloved Son, our whole expectation depend upon him, and our whole hope cleave to and rest in him.
John Calvin (French Reformer)

John Calvin (French Reformer)
