“You are more than what you have become.”
This idea should ring in our minds as we dive into 2025 and the rest of our lives. We should want more. It’s ok to want more. We should be content with what we have, for godliness with contentment is great gain. But, there are some areas where we should want more.

1. Are you Available?

Give Jesus what you have
Boat
Go where you’r told
Go into the deep

2. Are you Willing?

Admit your failure
Peter takes this time to remind Jesus that he knows fishing better than Jesus. That when it comes to preaching and teaching and the holy things of God Jesus knows. But, when it comes to fishing, and sailing, my job, my life, Peter knows better. Isn't it something that while Jesus is seemingly doing something Peter can’t do, Peter trusts his judgement and the boat is Jesus’, but as soon as Jesus gets in peters lain all off a sudden its his boat again.
Obedient
Peter, with all this short comings, has the faith enough to know who is in charge and calls Jesus “Master”, but more than that the does what Jesus asks him to do. He goes and he does.
“But at your word...” (Run)
Receive (exegete v.5-7)

3. Are you Ready?

Repent
Work
The job that Peter has been doing becomes the type of ministry Peter will be called to. The way in which Jesus recruits Peter for mission is in the familiarity of Peter’s context, experience, and giftedness. He calls Peter to do what Peter knows how to do. From now on you will be a fisher of men. I know you fish you will keep finish for people.
