20. Grace

Grace is God’s good pleasure that moves Him to grant merit where it is undeserved and to forgive debt that cannot be repaid. In the Old Testament, it is sometimes described as the Lord’s favor.

Scripture:

Genesis 6:8 - 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord

John 1:14 - 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth

Romans 3:22-24 - 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Prayer: Gracious God, thank You for being abundant in grace so I can be free from the payment for my sin and have an intimate relationship with You. Help me to see where I can show grace to those in my life in light of the immense grace I stand in every day.
