13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
People must hear the Good News and we’ve been called to do so as Christians
All will be save who call on the Lord (this is more of a verb, understanding our need of a savior)
Emphasizes the privilege and responsibility we have as we step into a new year to bring the gospel to others.
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
We have the power of the Holy Spirit in us
Called locally and globally to share
13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Leroy was praying with us till the end.
---
We are already a new creation made perfect by God
Look towards the new year not looking back on our failures and regret
6 Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged;
parents are the pride of their children.
Children that pursue Christ are a great encouragement

God is always there for us:
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and bandages their wounds.
2 Sing to the Lord; praise his name.
Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
3 Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.
Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
Starting every day with this goal and perspective will set things off right
