Jesus is our Teacher - day 24 of 30

Welcome to Day 24 of 30, incorporating the names and attributes of our God into our understanding and our following God. Today, we are looking at the Jesus Christ as our Teacher.

24. Teacher

While Jesus’ disciples often referred to Him as “Teacher,” Jesus reveals to them that the Holy Spirit will be their teacher when He is with the Father. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, guiding you into more of who God is, who He says you are, and even leading you to your next step.

Scripture:

Nehemiah 9:20 - 20 Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.

John 14:26 - 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 John 2:27 - 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, my Teacher, what important truths would you like to highlight for me today? Open my heart and illuminate Your Word so I may learn Your life-giving ways and live in Your truth.
