1 Samuel 1:20 NKJV
So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.”
I can remember when I was younger my mamma and my grandfather decided to plant a garden in the back yard of our house. Y'all to know my mamma was to know that she kept me working so any project that she came up with was not for her to do but for me to get done with her close supervision. During this time I learned alot about gardening and the process it takes just to plant a seed so it can Grow. We had to teal the ground remove the grass to lessen the chances of grass or weeds growing in the garden in the future. We build our rows we watered the ground then we planted the seed. We had Okra, Corn, Watermelon, Strawberries, Cucumbers, Peas, Lettuce, We even planted some sweet potatoes we planted all type of stuff in our garden at different times to see what would come from it. Some of the crops grew fast like the Cucumber, the Bell Peppers, Lettuce, from what I can remember nothing grew as fast as the Okra. Seem like we had to go and tend to the okra daily I quickly learned that having a garden was alot of work. I was new to gardening and growing my own produce I didnt realize that even tho seen the Cucumber, Okra, Jalapenos, and other crop grow so fast that we had to give them away some of the other crops grew slow like the Corn, Watermelon, The Grapes, the fruit on our fruit trees just grew slow. At times I would get discouraged because as a young man I wanted not only to see the stuff grow but I also wanted to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
