This sermon, "Walking in the Victory," teaches that believers can live in victory through Christ by following five key steps: Comprehend, Consume, Confront, Commune, and Conquer. Using Revelation 3:5 and Romans 8:37, it emphasizes understanding our struggles, feeding on God's Word, relying on the Holy Spirit, facing challenges with faith, and embracing our identity as conquerors. Victory is not just a promise but a reality for those who walk in God's power.

Romans 8:37 NKJV

Introduction
Today we are going to attempt to share some keys to walking in victory:
He will give us victory over difficult circumstances.  Comprehend, Consume, Confront, Commune, Conquer.
Fully Comprehend the problem.
Consume the Word of God.
Commune with the comforter.
Confront the Problem.
Remember that the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead is alive in you! You are victorious!

1. He will give us victory in difficult circumstances.

John 16:33 NKJV
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Jesus overcame the world, so we know through the power of the Holy Spirit we can.
2 Corinthians 1:4–7 NKJV
4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
we all like to testify but none of us like trials.
since I started this spiritual journey I have discovered that some of my problem is that I never thought would go through anything. further, I decided that I may have been comparing other peoples outsides to my insides.
while I would have said, I want to preach the gospel of Christ, I would also tell you that I was not prepared for what was coming with that yes to God.
a good illustration is i want God to give us a building, do I really want to be in the position that requires the faith i need to get that building.

2.Comprehend,Consume,Confront, Commune, Conquer.

Romans 12:1–2 NKJV
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Fully Comprehend the problem.

Hosea 4:6 NKJV
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

Consume the Word of God.

Matthew 4:4 NKJV
4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”

Commune with the comforter.

Romans 8:26–27 NKJV
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Confront the Problem.

Galatians 6:4–5 NKJV
4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.

Remember that you are more than a conqueror.

Romans 8:37 NKJV
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Illustration:
Let's say you grew up in church, but you were poor. Let's assume that you struggle with my God, who shall supply all your needs. You're a believer in the word of God! You believe that God will supply all of your needs, except for in truth you don't. This leads to actually not trusting God with your finances. Tithing without trusting. This is a real issue for you but you don't know it. You're counting on your strength and your strength alone to meet every one of your needs but you don't know it. Why don't you know it? Because you believe the word of god! Except for in fact you don't come the enemy is actually come and put in a poverty mentality. You say Amen and all the right spots. You believe that God is a provider intellectually, and you tithe, but you don't truly believe. You want to believe but somehow you can't get there. You have a resentment against god and you don't even know it. Until you comprehend how deep this wound goes you'll never walk in victory. Before a person can confront their property mentality they have to comprehend it. After they comprehend they have a problem they need to consume the word of God in regard to the problem. As they are consuming the word of God in regard to the problem they need to commune with the God of the word about the problem and how it works out in their life. Then they can confront the problem and make changes in the way they think, command their feelings, and correct their actions, therefore allowing the Holy Spirit to move through them to pull down strongholds and allowing Christ to get up in them giving them a testimony, and making them a solution to a problem that once held you captive.

3. Remember that the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead is alive in you! You are victorious!

Romans 8:11 NKJV
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Remember that the power of God that raised Christ from the dead is living inside of you.
don't work on yourself at your own peril. let the Lord. work on you.
we have a new building coming. It needs to be clear that we don't want it or need it at the expense of you blessing.
i believe that there is a flow of blessing. The flow of blessing starts with you and your family and makes it to the house of God.
The way God blesses a Church he blesses it’s people. (the Church remember, is it’s people and not the name, not the bank account.) The way God intended blessing to flow was from the people through the families to the Church.
2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Conclusion:
Tonight, we’ve learned that victory in Christ isn’t just a promise—it’s a process. We must Comprehend the problem, Consume God’s Word, Commune with the Holy Spirit, Confront what holds us back, and then we will Conquer through Christ.
So why do so many believers struggle to walk in victory? Is it because we never truly expected to go through trials? Victory isn’t the absence of battles—it’s the presence of God’s power in the midst of them.
As we leave tonight, let’s remember: We were created to conquer. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us. We don’t fight for victory—we fight from victory. Now, let’s walk in it!
