Unity in Christ
Unity in Christ
1 Corinthians 1:10-17
Explain passage
What are some examples of personal preferences that might cause division among believers?
Do we have to agree on every single thing as Christians? Even in the Bible?
What are some thing we HAVE to agree on? But will everyone agree with you still?
Does that make them an enemy?
Why are we sometimes guilty of thinking of other believers as “enemies”?
What causes us to gravitate toward others who are like us? How can this create a challenge?
How can personal pride and the desire to be “right” destroy unity?
Unity in Christ means you have to be saved first!

Fill a clear glass about three-fourths to the top with water. Ask your students how many cotton balls they can add without making the glass overflow. Then test their theories. Probably the glass can hold many more than they anticipated. In a similar way, when believers are saturated with the Holy Spirit, we can dwell together in unity. Pray for your students to be unified.
