Is Not the Arrow Beyond You?

While David hides in the field, anxiously waiting to hear if he can return home or if he must flee, Jonathan joins his father, Saul, for the New Moon feast to determine his heart toward David. On the second day, Saul reveals his heart; he seeks David's life. Jonthan is grieved to bring the news to David and the two friends embrace for perhaps the last time. This episode calls into memory the promise that God is with us in the deepest valley. No matter the fears, anxieties, or troubles we face in life, God is forever present. We are desperate for HIM, and HE will prove HIS faithfulness in our desperation. We pray you are blessed with this reminder this week!
