LET’S PRAY

Prayer: Father we thank You for Your grace and love toward us. We pray that we would be filled with Your Spirit, Your strength and Your power, so that we can walk in all that You have called us to. We ask Your Holy Spirit to bring revelation of Your word that we can apply it to our lives and live it out. Father bless Your people in Jesus name. Amen

Last week I spoke from the Zachariah in regards to seeing the mountains before us as a plain. It is what God can do for us in the challenges of our life. In the midst of the storm we can have peace (peace be still Mark 4:39)

Zechariah 4:6–7 NKJV

So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ”

Ephesians 3:20–21 AMP

20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— 21 To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

We should never underestimate the power of God and what He can do in and through us.

What started with a man giving my dad a bible in a sheering shed in 1983 (Neal Grady Rev 14:12) is one of the reasons that I am hear today.

Revelation 14:12 NKJV

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

The choices that we make determine the direction that we travel.

FAITH TO MOVE MOUNTAINS

FAITH FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE

What is the impossible that you need to let God do?

FAITH FOR THE UNSAVED – By Faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8)

Are you praying and believing for the unsaved?

Ephesians 2:8 NKJV

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

FAITH FOR HEALING – By His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5)

Do you have for healing?

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Do you have faith to see God move?

Mark 4:39 NKJV

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

The bible tells us in:

Romans 10:17 NKJV

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Philippians 4:13 AMP

13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Mark 9:23 NKJV

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

POINT 1

FAITH - MOUNTAINS MADE PLAIN

It pleases God when we have a steadfast faith in all that He is and promises to do:

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Mustard seed of faith:

Matthew 17:20 NKJV

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Faith of the Centurion:

Matthew 8:10 NKJV

10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

Faith in the power of God:

Acts 2:1–6 NKJV

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

PETER GOES FROM FEAR OF THE PEOPLE TO PREACHING IN FAITH

Faith for healing – By His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5)

Faith for Salvation – By Faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8)

Peter and John under stood the power that they had through the Holy Spirit that when the lame man asked for help in Acts 3 their reply was “Silver and gold we do not have but what we do have we will give you, in the name of Jesus Christ rise up and walk”. We too need to understand the power that we have through the Holy Spirit and have confidence to walk in it.

CONCLUSION:

As we come to a close of this service today, this is just the beginning of the theme “Faith the Currency of Heaven”. Over this month as we focus on faith I believe it is the word of God that will give you the answers to increase your faith.

Today we have looked at faith, faith that moves mountains and faith in actions. These are all vital to the growth of faith in our life.

Faith 

Heb 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

Verse 4 By faith Abel offered God a more excellent sacrifice. Gen 4:4 – brings God respect

Verse 5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death.

Verse 17 By faith Abraham when he was tested offered up Isaac. Verse 18 in Isaac your seed shall be called.

Heb 12:1-2 Run the race with endurance that is set before us, Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Matt 17:20 Faith as a mustard seed.

Rom 10:17 So faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.
