Impartiality: No Favoritism in Christ

I. Partiality is incompatible with a Christian conscience. 2:1-4

1. Look through the eyes of Jesus. 2:1

2. Look through the exterior of a person. 2:2-3

3. Look through your own evil motives. 2:4

II. Partiality is insensitive to God’s calling. 2:5-7

1. Don’t dishonor those that God honors. 2:5-6

2. Don’t honor those that God dishonors. 2:7

III. Partiality is inconsistent with Scripture’s commands. 2:8-11

1. Love others indiscriminately. 2:8-9

2. Obey the law completely. 2:10-11
