Did you know that God has an ongoing plan for your life & for the entire world.
God’s plan for your life is part of God’s Master Plan for the world.
God’s great plan is to save the entire world by destroying sin & its effect to bring all people into loving, connected relationship with Him.
God demonstrated His commitment to this plan by sending Jesus (His best) to lay down His life for everyone - even for those who will never choose to accept the greatest gift of love that can be given.
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 15:13 NKJV
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

God is Calling YOU!

All throughout the Bible, God spoke to people and called them into His plan.
God called to Noah & told him to build an Ark to preserve people (Genesis 6)
God called to Abraham and told him to leave everything & everyone he knew in order to find the place God would show him. (Genesis 12)
God called to Jacob in Bethel (Genesis 28)
God called to Moses & Moses deviated from his plan to check out God’s diversion
Exodus 3:1–4 NKJV
Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”
Jesus personally called 12 men to follow Him.
Jesus said He would draw all people to Himself
John 12:32 NKJV
And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”
Jesus is calling and drawing you!
God has a plan for the world.
He is calling you to be an integral part in His great plan for the world.
You are a part of His great plan, what is your part???
1 Corinthians 12:27 NKJV
Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
Ephesians 4:16 CJB
Under his control, the whole body is being fitted and held together by the support of every joint, with each part working to fulfill its function; this is how the body grows and builds itself up in love.
Are you doing your part in the plan?
BTW, not everyone’s part is to be full-time in the organizational structure of the local church.
Every one of us is called to be full-time with God & His plan for the world.
Have you planned to be a part of God’s plan or are you asking God to be a part of YOUR plan?
The easiest way to get involved in God’s great plan is to say YES to everything He asks & instructs you to do (in His Word & by His Spirit).
Become God’s Yes-person!
Matthew 10:7–8 NKJV
And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Matthew 28:18–20 AMP
Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).
Isaiah 6:8 NKJV
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

3 Great Questions to Ask God:

Am I right where (& when) You want me to be?
What purpose did You create me for?
What do You want me to do right now?

Is there room for Jesus?

2 Famous Bible Accounts:
When Jesus was about to show up, we find out that “There was no room for them in the Inn.”
When Jesus was at the house of Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38-41), Martha was so consumed with the activities of serving that she forgot to be with Jesus.
Are you leaving (dare I say, prioritizing) room for the person and the plan of God? (in your calendar, time, energy, focus, finances)
Are you so packed full in your schedule that God couldn’t break in or interrupt you like he interrupted Moses even with a burning bush?
Story of Juda Roache planning his schedule around the plan of God for his life.
“I decided to make serving in church my top priority and every other schedule would have to conform to that. Plus I figured God would be able to bless me with more than I would ever be able to make while working. Even in a non-monetary way, serving God is worth more than everything I’ll ever make.” - Juda

Just One Thing:

Will you give participation in God’s plan priority in your life? The world is depending on your yes!

Discussion Questions:

What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?
Are you right in the center of the will of God for your life (in every part)? If not, what area(s) need to move or adjustment(s) need to be made to get there?
Please read Isaiah 6:8 and share how this verse impacts you. Then please share a little about what your personal internal responses and feelings are to this verse.
If you know (at least some) of what God wants you to do in His plan for the world, please share it. If you do not have any idea, pray with your Connect Group and ask God to reveal your part in His plan.
