Introduction

John 14:15 KJV 1900
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

If you Love Him Refuse Sin

Romans 6:1–2 KJV 1900
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
How many times do we say we love Jesus? How often do we live like we do? The grace of God is not an excuse to live it up it is the avenue by which we learn to love him.

If You Love Him Read the Word of God

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV 1900
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We need Christians who love God enough to love his Word. If we don’t love him enough to read it how will we ever love him enough to follow it? If ye love me keep my commandments. If you don’t love him enough to read it you won’t follow the commands it contains.

If You Love Him Faithfully Attend Church

Hebrews 10:25 KJV 1900
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
We need Christians who love God enough to love his church. Jesus started the church and God said for us to attend the church. Of course there is more to loving the church than to attend it. How about being the church? We need to read the Word of God and attend church to learn how to live like Jesus intended his church to live. We need to love the people of our community. We need to love the people of God. We need to serve the church as well. What do you do for the church that Jesus started? Besides sitting in the pew and writing a check what things do you do to that shows a commitment to the church of God.
If we love Christ then we will love his church enough to attend it, to be committed to it, and to live like Christ intended his church to live.

If You Love Him Evangelize the World

Matthew 28:19–20 KJV 1900
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
We need Christians that love the Lord Jesus Christ enough to share the love of Jesus with the entire world. We won’t reach the world until we start with our neighbor next door, our neighbor down the street, the people of our community, or our family members we love.
We cannot reach the world unless we send missionaries throughout the world and we can’t write a check that is a personal sacrifice for ourselves unless we love Jesus. We must love the Lord Jesus to reach the world for him. We must choose to evangelize the world with the gospel, but we must love Jesus if we are going to do it.
