Invitation to Biblical Discipleship

[GREETING]

Good evening friends, name is Kervin Moreno Jr. and Church of the Cross welcomes you to Saturday Worship.

An alternative service for those who are unable to attend on Sundays—allowing opportunities for growth in Christ and true fellowship according to the Bible.

As we continue in our time of worship, there are connection cards and offering envelopes in the seats ahead of you.

We want to get to know you—when you fill out a connection card, you’ll also receive a gift from us as well and we also want to extend an opportunity to give without any obligation of course, we are blessed with your presence this evening.

Let us now go to the Lord in prayer:

“Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your people, grateful for the privilege of gathering to worship You.

Open our hearts to Your Word and give us understanding by Your Spirit. 

May the truth of Your gospel transform us, and may Your wisdom be revealed to us through the preaching and hearing of Your Word. 

As we present our offerings, we do so not out of compulsion but with gladness, knowing that all we have is from You. 

Use these gifts to glorify Your name and further Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”
