Family Meeting Notes

Worship 

Goal: To teach and instill the heart of worship to the church.

1. To teach why and what we are singing.

1 Chronicles 16:23 ESV

23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day.

Helps us remember Christ’s promises and is meant for joy, conviction, and ultimately to glorify God

2. To worship through obedience.

Romans 12:1 ESV

1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Report and Review:

Tim Combs has been one that I’ve seen grow immensely in His word, faith, and talent. 

Vinny is a Junior in high school and has been playing drums on the youth team. 

More teaching and scripture and less spotify or itunes playlist.

Idea: More choir for worship - Figuring out the timing on how this could work but we’ve been wondering to integrate this a little more in services again.

Youth

Goal: To make disciples in this young generation and for the gospel to be proclaimed in their lives and words.

1. They are young, but able to grow and to become a disciple and share the gospel with their friends.

1 Timothy 4:12 ESV

12 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

2. Obedience and Accountability

Praying and Reading Scripture -

Turning away from sin of anxiety, lust, idolatry, and identity in other things than Christ.

Consistency in serving and attending and inviting their friends.

Discipling the students - Group chat for high school guys

Winter Retreat

Average of 18-20 students

New Youth Leader: Jesse

Future:

Go into schools to reach out to where the students are at.

Meeting with other Youth Pastors.

Involving students in outreach opportunities and how we can impact the community and grow our ministry.

Tech

Goal: To help with all things tech that will help with communication, outreach, graphics, social media, etc. to ultimately glorify God and to help maintain our vision statements of Believing the Bible, Belonging to Family, and Building God’s Kingdom.

Church Center - This is our main way of communication, resources, and this is a hub for what’s going on in the church. Please encourage everyone to use this.

Visitor Reach - This is a marketing company to help with getting our church name out on all platforms, we’ve seen around 7-10 people attend and actually a couple has joined the church through this. We have our own app to communicate to their number and start conversations with them before they ever attend the church.

Project Management - We are using Monday.com to help instill a better work environment

Church Podcast - Creating content for those to see and watch

Content Calendar for Church and helping with that.
