Heard “def insanity doing the same thing over and over again expecting diff results”

if true, Christ Peter small bit o insanity

or rather: God over appearances

all day casting nets nothing,

do it again at Lord’s command

put out in deep

this captain ship becomes captain of the Church

pilots into depths unseen

Faith floats like boat on water of love

to trust in unseen comes love of trusted

Consider story of two wives in WWII

both their husbands are off at war

the husband pilots

both were seen going down underneath clouds on fire

calls in constantly for news

Which woman loved her husband more?

the one who acted against appearances

heard what appeared died, and held out that alive

Faith reality

Holds true unseen

even sometimes when agaisnt appearances

like women

like Peter casting nets

Crucified as victory

It is the holding to invisible command of God not to eat the beautiful seductive fruit of tree

instead eat of THAT tree

believing against appearances that this fruit is really Christ

an exact opposite fall

Not contrary to reason, but appearance

Much salv faith is this

corpse cross is life

poor are blessed

lowly lifted up

Opposite of faith against appear is faith IN appear

empiricism

APPEARS true, but is actually real insanity

reduce to senses insane

There double down with zeal

cast the nets more vigorously and eagerly

there see what you really love

Great trials of evil

great loss of loved ones

terrible afflictions finance or health

do not go gently into that dying light, but stand true in faith

For our weak eyes

given us the new Tree, the sign of APPARENT contradiction

appearances can be deceiving

Truth shines invisible behind the veil like a beautiful bride

Hear the words of God: Cast into the depths for a catch
