Ecclesiastes 3:1–9

Ecclesiastes 3:1–9 (CJB)
1 For everything there is a season,
a right time for every intention under heaven—
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to discard,
7 a time to tear and a time to sew,
a time to keep silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
9 What does the worker gain from his efforts?
Matthew 22:35–40 (NIV)
35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38This is the first and greatest commandment.
39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Hebrews 13:8 “8 Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today and forever.”

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever

Ezekiel 36:26 NIV
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Sermon Outlines for Special Days 21. The Changed Life (Ezekiel 36:26)

Because man is born in sin (Rom. 3:23), he must be born again. Sin cannot enter heaven (Rom. 6:23). When man accepts Christ he is born again (John 3:1–8). He is made new in Christ. He has become the son of God (John 1:12). Man cannot change his life without Christ’s help.
