Understand who Christ is, understand the victory you have!
Understand who Christ is, understand the victory you have!
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
Imagine-
eikon (εἰκών, 1504) denotes “an image”; the word involves the two ideas of representation and manifestation.
In the Old Testament they would make graven images of false God’s and worship them
We have Jesus Christ who is the manifestation of God in the Flesh-
From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
The Power of the Blood is seen in your Salvation:
The Power of the Blood is seen in your Salvation:
and through him God reconciled
everything to himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth
by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
It will never Lose it’s Power
The blood that Jesus shed for me
Way back on Calvary
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power
It reaches to the highest mountain
It flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power
It soothes my doubts and calms my fears
And it dries all my tears
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power
There is Power in the Blood of Jesus-
It took you from being an enemy, separated from God, and now because the one who is supreme shed His blood on the cross of Calvary- You are brought God’s presence now
The blood of Jesus shed on the cross has made you:
Holy
Blameless
As you stand before Him without a single fault
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
this means that God’s plan was always to send Jesus Christ to rescue us and redeem us
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Jesus is the ultimate expression of God’s plan of Hope, good, and saving from disaster
You have been brought near- you stand int he presence of God Now!
Now that we know these wonderful truths-
Now that we know these wonderful truths-
But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.
The Good News has assurance with it, because it is the message of what the Supreme on Did through His Blood shed on the cross!
What is the assurance?
What is the assurance?
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.
Jesus Christ the Supreme one- Is my Hope of Glory and He lives in Me
The Word Hope or Trust-
Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words Hope (Noun and Verb), Hope (For)
elpis (ἐλπίς, 1680), in the NT, “favorable and confident expectation”
it is to look forward with confidence to that which is good and beneficial!
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
