Psa 40:9 - righteousness preached in the congregation

Isa 61:1 - The Spirit of the Lord was upon Christ, for the Lord anointed him to preach good tidings. Here preaching is associated with binding up the broken hearted, liberty to the captive, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

Jon. 3:2 - Jonah is commissioned to go to preach that which the Spirit bade them.

Matt. 3:1 - John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness.

Matt. 4:17 - Jesus began to preach, repentance and the kingdom of God.

Matt. 4:23; 9:35 - Jesus taught in the synagogues, preached the gospel of the kingdom, and healed all manner of sickness and disease. Preaching is associated with teaching and healing.

Matt 10:7 - Jesus commanded the disciples to go, preaching, and the content of their message is The kingdom of heaven is at hand. This is a message of warning.

Matt. 10:27 - They are commanded to preach on the housetops.

Matt. 11:1 - Jesus travelled to preach and teach in cities.

Matt. 11:5 - the poor have the Gospel preached to them.

Matt. 12:41 - preaching influenced the polity and judgment of the men of Nineveh; the content of Jonah’s preaching was repentance.

Matt. 24:14 - The Gospel of the kingdom of will preached in all the world, for a witness unto all the nations …then shall the end come.

Matt. 26:13 - Wherever the Gospel is preached, in the whole world, the lady who washed Jesus feet with the alabaster box will be preached.

Mark 1:4 - John the Baptist preached the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Mark 1:39 - peached in synagogues and cast out devils.

Lk 4:18 - Jesus said that the Spirit of the Lord is upon him, anointing him to preach the gospel to the poor and deliverance to the captives, along with the acceptable year of the Lord.

Lk 8:1 - Jesus went throughout every city and village preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. The showing may be indicative of signs.

Lk. 9:2 - preaching is associated with healing the sick.

Lk. 16:16 - Everyone who enters into the kingdom of God is required to press into it, by the preaching of the kingdom.

Lk. 24:47 - Repentance and remission of sins must be done through preaching in the name of Jesus in all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 3:20 - Jesus Christ was preached unto them.

Acts 4:2 - Preached Jesus through resurrection of the dead.

Acts 5:42 - They preached daily in the temple, from house to house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Acts 8:12 - Philip preached the kingdom of God, in the name of Jesus, baptizing both men and women, who adhered to the preaching of the kingdom.

Acts 8:25 - preaching is associated with testimony.

Acts 10:36 - The content of Peter’s preaching was peace by Jesus Christ.

Acts 10:42 - There is a reiteration of God’s command to preach to people, along with testifying that Christ has been ordained of God to be the Judge of the quick and the dead.

1 Cor. 1:17 - Christ sent Paul not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel, the cross of Christ, to make it of no effect.

1 Cor. 1:18 - Preaching of the cross is to them that perish and to them that are saved, through the power of God.

1 Cor. 1:23 - it pleased God through the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1 Cor. 2:4 - preaching is to be done in the demonstration of the Spirit and power.

1 Cor. 9:14 - They that preach the Gospel should be supported for their work by the Church.

1 Cor. 9:27 - Preachers must take heed to themselves, lest they become a castaway.

1 Cor. 15:1 - Paul preached unto the Corinthians only that which he had recieved.

1 Cor. 15:11 - The end-goal of preaching is belief.

1 Cor. 15:14 - Apart from the resurrection, all preaching is in vain.

2 Cor. 10:16 - The mission of Paul was to preach the Gospel to the regions beyond Corinth.

Galatians 1:8 - Only the Gospel of Jesus should be preached; no other Gospel than that of Christ should be preached.

Galatians 1:9 - If any man preach any Gospel which they have not recieved from God, they are accursed; this seems to be referring to excommunication.

Galatians 1:16 - Paul’s purpose was that the Son of God would be revealed in him, that he would preach among the heathen.

Galatians 2:2 - Gospel must be communicated.

Phil. 1:15 - Some preach Christ even of envy and strife, while others preach Him of good will.

Phil. 1:16 - Some preach Christ of contention, without sincerity, and their purpose is to add affliction to the wounds of Paul.

Col. 1:23 - Faith and the hope of the Gospel is that which Paul claims to have preached.

Col. 1:28 - Preachings is warning and teaching every man in all wisdom, to present them perfect in Christ Jesus.

1 Thess. 2:9 - Paul labored night and day, not to be chargeable to anyone, that the Gospel might be preached.

2 Tim. 4:2 - The preacher must be prepared at all time to minister correction and exhortation to the congregation.

Titus 1:3 - Preaching manifests the Word of God.

1 Pet. 4:6 - The Gospel is preached to them that are dead, that they might be judged, by men according to men in the flesh, living according to the Spirit.

Rev. 14:6 - Preaching must be done in all nations, languages, and people.
