Being Wise for our Good and God’s Glory.
24 Four things on earth are small, but they are exceedingly wise: 25 the ants are a people not strong, yet they provide their food in the summer; 26 the rock badgers are a people not mighty, yet they make their homes in the cliffs; 27 the locusts have no king, yet all of them march in rank; 28 the lizard you can take in your hands, yet it is in kings’ palaces.

These verses picture 4 creatures which survive due to natural instinct. The wisdom seen in each of these reveals the beauty of the
Observations of the 4 animals - all have something in common, they are weak in most ways, but they survive by being wise, by using what God had given them.
ants
They survive by by planning and working hard.
rock badgers (Small mammals that live in rocky areas of Africa and Middle East )
They survive by knowing where they should be. They can’t defend themselves, but they wisely live in crags (rocky side of the mountain)
locust
have no leader, but they are organized. They take initiative.
lizard
resourcefulness (able to live on little, adapt and overcome)
God has given a wisdom to each creature, a wisdom we would all be wise to follow
We should plan, but be flexible and able to adapt
We should know where we should be, there are some places we should not go, stay where God has given us protection
We should be organized.

We should be resourceful.
We should use the resources God has given use for maximum fruitfulness. Good stewards.
What are you more of ? A ant, rock badger, locust, or lizard. We might identify with one more than the others, but should we wise in each area, for our good and God’s glory.
lets plan and work hard, take initiative, be organized, lets know where we should be, & lets be resourceful - good stewards of what God has given us.
