Today, I am going to share with yall verses about what the Bible says about love. In this room, there are bottles with numbers on them hidden. I will shout out the number, yall have to go find the number, whoever finds the number first gets a prize!

1 Corinthians 16:14 NLT

And do everything with love.

How do we do everything with love? ( examples, be kind, share, be respectful, help one another, pray for them, be happy to do things youre asked to do)

1 Corinthians 13:4–7 NLT

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

That is a better understanding of what love looks like! And by following this it shows us how to love others and show love to others!

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Would you lay down your life for your friends? Somebody did do that! Who was it? Exactly!

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

God loved us so much he sent his Son to die for us so we can have eternal life. That is what real love looks like!

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

So, lets gather this. We are called to love one another how? By our actions, by giving up our own way. And what is Love? God! God is love. Real love comes from God and he shows us how to love. Even our enemies! God sent his son to die for us, and that is true love. So how do we show others love? By sharing that news with others, by giving up our own way for others, by our actions....sounds a lot like the last series we just wen through, doesnt it? So not just for Valentines day, but all the time, love eachother, because he first loved us.
