Who Remembers Super Bowel 47 “God made a Farmer”
God under predestination needs a : Farmer, nurse, doctor, and last a sinner
Introduction
Do you believe you have been setup even before you were born?
How do we define setup: a way in which something is arrange organized
Do you think you make all the decisions in your life and do you feel you are in control of your life. Do you ever feel the Holy Spirit tugging at you saying just do it or take the leap of faith.
Three divisions of labor Father Son and Holy Ghost
Father where it starts
Son where it is carried out
Holy Ghost where it is applied
The big Idea; The inheritance of God and how we have been have been set up
he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,
1.Predestined - determined in advanced by divine will for fate
The Greek word for "predestined" is proorizo, which means "to decide beforehand" or "to determine in advance".
The Hebrew word for "predestined" is yāṣar, which means "formed" or "ordained".
2. Where does predestination begin. Predestination begins with the Father
And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
A. God took a small amount of dirt and with he he formed a hill that would become one to the most important hills for the salvation of man. Upon the hill Jesus was crucified without the crucifixion of Jesus there would be not salvation for man. The forming of the hill for the crucifixion of Jesus was predestination for the salvation of man. This hill would be called Calvary.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,
Adoption: The act of God Welcoming a believer into his family
The adoption is only because of the salvation/accepting God as Lord and Savior
Accepting into the family of Christ
Just as a child is adopted into a family
Salvation is only done because of the death of Jesus Christ. Jesus was predestinated to be the salvation of man and with out salvation there would be no adoption into the family of God. This took place on the famous hill name Calvary
The Son where it was carried out
1.Inheritance to receive after death
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
With inheritance there is always a price to pay which is death.
Example when I die my only son James will Inherent the ranch
Give reference to God will (what he wants) vs mans paper will
The cost to God to allow us the inheritance of salvation and adoption into the family
The death of his only Son Jesus Christ, through predestination God had already made or knew the decision it had to be done
The inheritance we will gain due to our salvation at the time of our death will be a spot into the Kingdom of God eternal life
The Holy Ghost application through sanctification
Conclusion:
So you can see you have been setup even before the world was formed. You have also been predestined by the Father for every act or decision in you life. It is only through you adoption by the Son into the family of God will you obtain the inheritance sealed by the Holy Spirit via sanctification that you have been predestined to receive. God has already done the hard work. The work was done long before you or I was born, the work start thousands of years ago. God has formed the heavens and earth that we did dwell in or on. God has given his only son so the we may be forgiven of our sins. Our work is easy compared to Gods in order to gain the inheritance of his kingdom all you need to to is ask him with with your lips to forgive you and accept him into your heart.
God needs a sinner we are all sinners and with out sin we can not be forgiven and hence we can not be adopted into the family of God
