If you are courageously faithful in your walk with the Lord you will see His unending faithfulness in your life.

1. Courageously Walking with the Lord will bring discomfort and opposition.

17 Then the high priest rose up. He and all who were with him, who belonged to the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. 18 So they arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. 19 But an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail during the night, brought them out, and said, 20 “Go and stand in the temple, and tell the people all about this life.” 21 Hearing this, they entered the temple at daybreak and began to teach.

33 When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them.

Gamalieil- Master Teacher
first-century ad  teacher of the law of  Moses , under whom  Paul  studied
Acts 22:3 “3 He continued, “I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia but brought up in this city, educated at the feet of Gamaliel according to the strictness of our ancestral law. I was zealous for God, just as all of you are today.”
He was part of the school of Hillel  and a member of the  Sanhedrin.

For if this plan or this work is of human origin, it will fail; 39 but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even be found fighting against God.

Proverbs 21:30 “30 No wisdom, no understanding, and no counsel will prevail against the Lord.”
Matthew 27:25 “25 All the people answered, “His blood be on us and on our children!””
Zelous - Religous Jealosy
Hebrews 10:31–39 “31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 32 Remember the earlier days when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings. 33 Sometimes you were publicly exposed to taunts and afflictions, and at other times you were companions of those who were treated that way. 34 For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, because you know that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession. 35 So don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will, you may receive what was promised. 37 For yet in a very little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. 38 But my righteous one will live by faith; and if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and are saved.”

The Hall of Faith

11 Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.

Romans 5:1–5 “1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, 4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. 5 This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

2. Courageously Walking with the Lord will cause you to speak about the Life.

19 But an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail during the night, brought them out, and said, 20 “Go and stand in the temple, and tell the people all about this life.” 21 Hearing this, they entered the temple at daybreak and began to teach.

They went right back teaching.

30 The God of our ancestors raised up Jesus, whom you had murdered by hanging him on a tree. 31 God exalted this man to his right hand as ruler and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.”

1 Peter 2:24 “24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”

Luke 24:47 “47 and repentance for forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
Ephesians 1:7 “7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace”

28 “Didn’t we strictly order you not to teach in this name? Look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”

Fear of Man

Isaiah 51:12 "I am the one who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear man who will die, or a son of man who will be made like grass?"
Proverbs 29:25 "The fear of man is a snare, but the one who trusts in the Lord is protected."
Galatians 1:10 "For am I now trying to persuade people or God? Or do I seek to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Luke 12:4-5 "I say to you, my friends: Don't fear those who kill the body, and after that can do nothing more. But I will show you the one to fear: Fear him who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes, I say to you, this is the one to fear!
Proverbs 16:7 "When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies be at peace with him."
Matthew 10:28 "Don’t fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Jeremiah 1:8 "Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to rescue you.” This is the Lord’s declaration."
Psalm 118:6 "The Lord is for me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Proverbs 3:7 "Don’t be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil."
Social Anxiety Disorder (Social Phobia) This is one of the most relevant conditions related to the fear of judgment or disapproval from others. Individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder often experience significant fear or anxiety about social situations where they might be scrutinized by others. The fear stems from the belief that they will be embarrassed or judged negatively.
Symptoms include:
Intense fear of being negatively evaluated in social situations.
Avoidance of social interactions.
Physical symptoms like sweating, shaking, or rapid heart rate when facing social settings.
Specific Phobia This disorder involves excessive fear of specific objects or situations. In some cases, fear of social situations (though more general) or specific fears of interacting with others could fall under this category, especially if the fear is narrowly focused on certain scenarios.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) Though it’s broader, individuals with GAD might experience anxiety about multiple areas of life, including social interactions and the fear of being judged by others, though it tends to be more generalized and pervasive across various contexts, rather than being specifically about social situations.
A fear of man can be an excessive desire to please others.
It can be a trap that robs a person of their courage.
It can be a sinful desire that causes a person to seek the approval of others more than God.
In the Bible, the opposite of fearing man is a healthy, trusting fear of God.
Androphobia is the scientific term for the fear of men.
It comes from the Greek words andros, meaning man, and phobia, meaning fear.
It can be triggered by a traumatic experience with a male, such as child abuse, sexual assault, or bullying.
It can cause anxiety or fear in social or work settings.
It can lead to atypical behaviors and physical reactions.
As for me, I have braved the sneer of men because I feared the frown of my Lord. Jerusalem The Guilty, Volume 62, Sermon #3520 - Luke 13:33

We fear men so much because we fear God so little.

Christians and Suffering Go Hand and Hand

1 Peter 2:19–25 “19 For it brings favor if, because of a consciousness of God, someone endures grief from suffering unjustly. 20 For what credit is there if when you do wrong and are beaten, you endure it? But when you do what is good and suffer, if you endure it, this brings favor with God. 21 For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 22 He did not commit sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth; 23 when he was insulted, he did not insult in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten but entrusted himself to the one who judges justly. 24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but you have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”
