It’s better to be in than out (1-8)

Go ahead and raise your kids in church (1-2)
Unbelief does not cancel God’s righteousness, it establishes it (3-4)
There is no argument for you sinning so that God can look good saving you (7-8)

The condition of by sin (9-13)

Psalm 14:1-3 “The fool has said in his heart that there is no God”
The whole of man’s inner being is controlled by sin (11-12)

No sinner seeks after God. Therefore, God must seek the sinner
Luke 19:10 “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
You did nothing to save yourself, you couldn’t do anything.

Knowledge of sin (19-20)

We know we are sinners because of we can see ourselves in the light of what Truth really is.
We see ourselves against the law of God and know we don’t stack up
It is because of the law that we know we are sinners in need of a savior

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested
