I want you to image a six year at a relitvses house alone. They are in the home office on the computer playing flash games online, looking thew the computers setting, pulling up saved images and videos and just overall messing around on the computer and unintechaoly some how that six year old pulls up pornography onto the computer screen. The six year old is confused, they don't know how this got here, or what it really is. At the age of six they has a vague idea on what sex is but they don't realy know, so they assume this is what sex must be. But they don't understand why its on the computer. The six year old gets scared they don't know what to do. So they turn off the computer and they do not tell anyone. And they to act like it did not happen. But something did happen. a seed was planted. a seed that the enemy will use to kill them physically, spiritually and emotionally as they grow older.

That six year old was me, that was my first exposure to pornography on my grandparents computer in 2006. Sadly this is not an abnormal or a rare experience. Millions of people have a vary similar experience. According to a survey by the Barna Group in 2016 28% of Christian men and 11% of Christian women say they were first exposed to pornography before the age of 12. For non-Christians 23% of men and 24% of women were exposed before the age of 12. And for me and millions of others the first exposure to pornography would not be the last time view it. In 2016, Barna Group also found people age 13-17 7% came across porn daily; 8% intentionally sought it out daily. 21% came across porn weekly; 18% sought it out weekly. 21% came across porn once or twice a month; 11% sought it out. In total, 57% of teens sought out porn at least monthly

My first exposure was at the age of six even though it happened more then 20 years ago and was a still image that I only saw it for 10 seconds. I still remember it to this day. That moment sexualized my brain at such a young age and planned a seed that took a deep route and it would grew to a 10 year addiction to pornography from the ages of 12 years old to 22 years old. That decord long action to pornography during an age were my brain was enveloping destored my view on what sex was supost to be.

Sex is a beautiful thing when it is used in the way God has intended it for: one husband one wife for life. It bonds the two and they become one just as the scripts say.(Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:8, Ephesians 5:31) But just like every beautiful thing God has made the enemy has twisted it and purveyed it to appeal to our sinful fleshly desires to lead us astray. And Pornography has been the apex of the perversion of sex in our modern world.

If you want to be free from this perversion you have to think militaristic about getting free from it. I'm a Infantryman in the US Army. We train to fight and defeat the enemy's of the United States. And my fellow Christians reading this you my not be in any military of a nation here on earth but you are in the lords army and your fighting the ultimate enemy. The enemy that has come to kill, steal and destroy(John 10:10). Part of the training to fight our nations enemy's is to have a battle plan. Any Military that runs into combat without a battle plan or equipment for there warriors had no chance of winning the battle. That’s why so many Christians are losing this battle they don't have a battle plan or equipment fight the battle and to have victory. This book is for the christian who is loosing the battle with pornography. Maybe you have been losing this battle for a long time and you have given up. Or maybe your a Christian who has never even tried to stop watching pornography. This is a book to guide and help you, to get a battle plan and equipment declare war on porn and be victorious.

Chapter 2: What are the stats

In my opinion why pornography has become a major sin amounts followers of Christ is the belief that a no other Christians struggles with watching pornography and sense its so easy to hide the fact your watching pornography. They do not bring the sin to light or address the sin openly. But that is why it has become a problem. Sense its so easy to hide it you cant see how may Christians are struggling with it. In this chapter we are going to go over what the sates are and bring to light what the state are.

According to the data by SemRush, in September 2024 alone, Pornhub (the most popular pornography website) was the sixth most popular website in the world that month and had over 5.6 billion views. In 2024 the world population was around 8.2 billion. So if that 5.6 billion views in just Ponhub alone was just one person that world be over 70% of the world population. Now every view on pornhub was not one person who would never viewed again. But also pornhub is not the only pornographic website. What the 5.6 billion views in one month show is how a majority of people watch pornography. Pornhub, reports that in 2017, on there website 25 billion searches were performed. That brakes down to 72 million per day. 50,000 searches per minute and 800 searches a second. When we read large numbers on a page our minds sometimes don't truly posses how much it truly is. That year In America. Superbowl LI(51) was played at NRG Stadium in Houston Texas on February 5th between The The New England Patriots and The Atlanta Falcons. This game had one of if not, the greightist comeback in champion sport history. At half time the Atlanta Falcons were up 21 points and the patriots had scored only 3. With Tom Brady at quarterback and Bill Belichick as couch The Patriots walked out of the locker room, they tied the game bringing it into the first overtime in Superbowl history and the Patriots won with a final score of New England 34 and Atlanta 28. With this exacting comeback unfolding during the most popular game in America and also having Lady Gaga performing the half time show with her starting her performance by diving from the roof of the stadium to the field. The broadcast on Fox had 112 Million viewers. And is one of the most viewed broadcast in American history. As when we saw ealyer in 2017 there was a daily rate of 72 million searchers on Pornhub. That is 64% of the viewership of the spectral of that years Superbowl that happened every single day. To reach the yearly searches of 25 billion you would have to have 233 Superbowl LI to take place in 2017. The final of the world cup played between had 400 million viewers. So what are the statics of pornography in the Church. Barna Group survaid Christian men and women on there porn use. They did this in 2014 and again in 2024. So we can how much charnged happened in a decade regarding Christians viewing pornography. 2014 showed 64% of U.S. Christian men, looked at pornography at least once a month. 10 years later in 2024 Barna’s found that it jumped to 75%. That’s a 1% incise every year. For women in 2014 The same study found 15 % of women view pornography once a month. In 2024 they found it was 44% of women view pornography. That’s a 2.9% incise every year. It is also effecting church leaders not just the congregation According to a survey by the Barna Group in 2016. 1 in 5 youth pastors(20%) and 1 in 7 senior pastors(15%) use porn on a regular basis. If you do the math That’s more than 50,000 church leaders in America. That same study shows 43% of senior pastors and youth pastors have struggled with pornography in the past. Also Only 7% of church has a ministry dedicated to those who are struggling with porn.

Now its hard to show exactly how many Christians are watching pornography. But what all the statistics we went showed Porn use is rampent world wide. That it is a Major problem in the church. That its a growing Sin in the church that is primarily a mans issue but its not only a mans issue. it is effecting women in the church at a rate that is growing more then it is for men.

All of this come to this point If you are a Christian and you are strugling with this sin of viewing pornography and you are thinging to yourself. That no oner belever is stugling or has stugled with this.

Chapter 3 : Did God Really Say?

Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You can’t eat from any tree in the garden’?”

If you are a Christian and you are watching pornography you know its wrong. The holy spirit will convict you on it and so you make up excuses and lie to your self to justify living in this sin. The big lies that you tell yourself is that its not a sin or it is a sin but its not that big of a deal. When I was a slave to pornography I would keep telling myself “Did God realy say its wrong to watch pornography is wrong? Its not like its aculey having sex I'm just watching.” This lie was first told in the Garden of Eden. The Enemy got Eve to dought Gods word by asking “Did God Really Say?” That lie was so effective and worked so well not only did it work on Eve to sin agest God by eating the Fruit from the Tree(add) but the Enemy still uses it today. So to answer the question The Enemy is asking us today. Did God realy say its a sin to watch Pornography. Yes God really said pornography is a sin. Don’t just take my world for it. Take Gods living Word for it.

In the Bible any sexual relation that is not between One husband and One wife is defined and called as a sexual sin. Anything that is outside that one husband and one wife union like Same sex relations, Pulare marriage, sex before marriage, adultery, all falls under the category of sexual sin. So this is were the Lie “Did God really say?” comes in You can Justify by telling your self “I'm just watching I’m not aculty having sex so its not that bad.” But Jesus refutes this exact line of thinking In Matthew 5:27-30

27 “You have heard that it was said, Do not commit adultery., 28 But I tell you, everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. If you look with lust its adultery in your heart. Jesus is making it clear Lust is a sin. What is Lust? Lust is focusing on pleasings ones desires. You can lust over money or there is the term bloodlust for wanting to kill. But what Jesus is refuring to here and when Lust is used for for the majority of the time is in a Sexual nature. That kind of Lust is focusing on pleasing your sexual desires. Jesus here in Matthew 5:28 the looking he is refuring to is looking in some way to fulfill some kind of sexual desire. Fantasizing about sleeping with this women, its focusing on pleasing yourself. And We know Jesus is not saying if you just look its looking with intent.((go to the greek).

When you watch pornogary you are look with intent, you are looking with lust. You are looking to pleasing yourself, It Is sin. Its also intesting in veres 29-30 of chapter 5 jesus says if your hand and eyes cause you to sin to get rid of them. Jesus connects your eyes and hands to the sin of Lust. You might already see were Im going with this. your eyes and hands are both required to masturbate to pornography. Now you can still lust just by watching and not masturbating but lets be real if your watching porn your going to be masterbaing. Your eyes and hands are tied to lusting and being called a sin. Pornography is a Sexual sin. there is no way around it.

Sexual Sin is idolatry Paul says so in “” So why is it Idolatry Well first anything you worship other then God is idolatry. Put its Idolatry because us christans our bodys are the temple of the holy spirit. And Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 6 18-19

18 Flee sexual immorality! Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the person who is sexually immoral sins against his own body. 19 Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own

Sexual sin is agents your body, your body is the temple. there for sexual sin is effecting the temple were Gods resides. earlier in cheaper 6 verse 15-16 of 1 corinthais Paul tells the members in the church in corinth to not join themselfs with protiures. The city of Corith was a port city sailers would come and go from around the Mediterranean. And Corinth gained a reputation as a City of debortury .
