Opening Scripture

Proverbs 8:35 NLT
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.
We have the ability to find God through His Word, Prayer, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
In order to receive favor from the Lord we must first acquire a relationship with Him.
The only way to gain a relationship with God the Father is through accepting the gift of salvation that was paid on the cross by His Son Jesus Christ.
In order to receive God’s gift of Salvation through Jesus we MUST be willing to let go of the world and the things thereof
When we find our personal connection to God we in return find LIFE!

How to Gain Favor…

Proverbs 3:34 NLT
The Lord mocks the mockers but is gracious to the humble.
When we remain humble God gives us His Favor…
For those who choose to live life of sin while knowing God end up mocking God…
When we choose to strive to live our lives for God’s glory by upholding a life of righteousness we gain God’s Favor
The only way to truly live in righteousness is through a solid relationship with Jesus Christ
The more we model Christ, the more we grow in God’s favor!

More Grace…

Ephesians 2:8 NLT
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
God has given us His grace when we first believed in the completed works of Jesus Christ on the cross
Grace is God’s undeserved Favor. It’s NOT something that we can work for.
We can only receive grace by faith
Grace gives us the ability to overcome the battle
Grace gives us the ability to live life more abundantly in the presence of the most high God
Grace gives us the freedom to live life in victory through Christ Jesus!
Grace leads to favor. Favor requires righteousness! Righteousness requires Jesus!!

A Life Filled With Favor

A life that is filled with the favor of God is a reflection of ones relationship/closeness with the God the Father through Jesus
A Life filled with favor doesn’t mean that you won’t experience hardship
However, when we do face hardship God will lead us through it
A Life filled with Favor is a life that will glorify God!
A Life Filled with Favor is a life that is filled with the presence of the most High God!!
