8 Wees nugter, wees waaksaam! Julle teenstander, die Duiwel, loop rond “soos 'n brullende leeu”, op soek na wie hy kan verslind. 9 Hom moet julle teenstaan, standvastig in die geloof, in die wete dat julle medegelowiges oor die hele wêreld dieselfde soort lyding verduur.

Goed is die teenoorgestelde van sleg. Hulle staan in kontras en stryd met mekaar.

Dis 'n worstel-stryd teen!

NCV Ephesians 6:18

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up. Always pray for all God’s people.
