I have occasionally struggled with some of the ways that Christianity pursues the ideas of discipleship. Each generation of Christ followers works on this diligently, and each has a bit of a different take. Bible studies, tools and teachers abound. Resources, study guides and sermons on discipleship are abundant and available everywhere. It seems that we should be very well positioned to have unity and agreement on what a follower of Jesus is and does.
