We are beginning a new sermon series this morning. And so for the next few weeks, we're going to talk about discipleship as the fundamental. Yes, sir. Good morning. Thank you. I appreciate it. We're going to talk about discipleship for a very straightforward and simple Direction because sometimes even been and I talked about this this past Wednesday after I Wednesday evening study that sometimes we overcomplicate things and I can be especially bad at overcomplicating things. And so I want to talk about discipleship in a very straightforward and simple manner by going to Jesus as our teacher and looking in the gospels on the way. He talked and model discipleship. But before we get into this passage in Matthew 9, I want to talk a little bit about the background the worldview in the minds and hearts of all those that Jesus encountered in many many ways a world without the truth of God breeds uncertainty fear lies manipulation and depression. Now this was true in the time of Genesis 1. It was a world in which the way people imagine the universe working. Where is there were many many different gods and so you couldn't be sure which God was most powerful or was it control or was making your crops flourish or making your crops falter? And so you had to make sure because of that uncertainty you had to live in fear and you had to make sure that you were pleasing all the different gods and so you would get sold statues of different gods and be sure and said this one near your window during this season or make sure that you go to this Temple and offer sacrifice and there were gross scenes that were even commended as a thing to do in the different temples have that time in order to appease the gods. And so there became this widespread manipulation of humanity. You better make sure you're jumping through the right Hoops in order to be in right standing with God so they walked with fear and that manipulation creates this bondage this oppression. Now even honestly when Genesis 1 was spoken, I in the beginning God said in there was it was this radical introduction of one true God. Eliminating the sphere this anxiety this uncertainty of many many gods to please and jump through hoops for one true God who is a personal and caring God who created Humanity? It's all the Old Testament is God through one nation trying to get that message out. But the truth is by the time we get to the gospels. We still have some of this same confusion even in the life of Israel even with the prophets and the wall and the Old Testament scriptures revealed to Israel. They still managed to pull away from what God intended. So that by the time of Christ coming in the gospels. He's come to straighten things out. He's come to preach the truth. He's come to call for repentance, which is a turning in a new direction of your thinking. It is not biblically a changing of your behavior purely of your own free will it's been breached as we have the ability to straighten ourselves up and fix herself and so repair that means you better fly right or you're in trouble with God that's not biblical repentance repentance is a changing of your mind learning of the truth and turning your whole life in the direction of that new truth and letting living out that new truth be what changes you not just kind of grit in your fist and saying I'm going to figure out a way to get things right on my own but it's dead being led by this new Truth for painting turning your mind toward that new Direction. So that even in the time of the gospels Jesus got there's this to even in the Jewish World. Let alone the Roman World which was thoroughly Pagan still the world we had to worry about which God to please and which God not the police in the air or he thinks he's a guy so I can make sure I please him it was full of uncertainty and fear and oppression. If you weren't the right class or you weren't in power from head this way to press you. It was awful outside the Jewish Kingdom, but even within the Jewish Kingdom the Pharisees had made this system this religious system that oppressed people you said they've got these burdens and they press it down on people had to worry for lamb. I pleasing the one true God properly. How did I divide off a tenth of my life ice in my things that didn't wash my hands properly they were obsessed with we've got the keys to the kingdom. We've got the system baby and you got to honor our system in order to be right. So Jesus came to preach the truth not only to the world that was clearly and thoroughly lost in the Roman world, but also to the Jewish World to call them to understand things correctly now, I might even suggest that today. We are more and more having the curtain pulled back. I don't think it's this new reality. I think we're seeing the reality more fully that today. We live in a world without the truth of God. And that reality is becoming more and more widespread.
It requires a world without the truth of God in order for armies to rise up and go into other nations and Slaughter everyone including women and children. And a Target those who are Christians and behead them and to film it and broadcast it so that everyone could see what they're very proud of doing. Again, I think almost like 9/11. I don't know about you guys, but sometimes I get so busy in my day-to-day life and it's a natural human tendency to not let the gravity of what's happening in the world rest on us. Sometimes can you relate to that? You know, I just rather change the channel, you know, maybe there's a football game on, you know, maybe NFL's back on Old good. It's September where there's going to be some NFL games you watch the news so long and you just feel like this is this is overwhelming. I saw the reality is it to reality of human nature? This was present in Genesis when the word was first spoken of this one true God who's a personal God? It had been even know that truth have been brought to the Jewish people. It has been abused and neglected and corrupted so that Jesus came and offered a New Covenant came and preach the truth of God revealed that even the Jewish people and commanded them to go into all the world. So it's not just the Jewish people. Jesus ended any sense of ethnic preference where we said. Well this nation is favored over another Nation. The I did that today one nation is favored over another is not a Biblical truth. Jesus got rid of all that and say go into all the world and all the word all the ethics is the original Greek Ponte at name every ethnicity in the world. There's no longer Greek nor Jew Paul says again, and again the scriptures there's no longer that distinction. And so Jesus brought this truth brought this truth of God understood correctly not The Jewish people but pleaded and begged and commanded that the Jewish people the first Christians and that us to this day that we would be ambassadors and we would bring that truth out. And so we preach it today. But sometimes I think we slip into the danger.
Of overcomplicating it we slip into the danger of maybe doing what the Pharisees did and Suddenly It's Not Jesus that we're introducing people or not. It's not Jesus that we're asking people to follow Suddenly It's a system or a church or a Doctrine or theology. You know again, as I said Jesus in John 8. He said he came to explain the truth about God and set the people free.
Given that I spoke a little bit about the wider context of ideas in that time. Can you understand? What an amazing thing? This is that Jesus comes and says Especially in the context of the Jewish people who said what do you mean we've already got the truth. We've got a corner on the market and I've had we figured out how to delete out the truth to the right people. And if you don't if you're not the right person that you don't get the truth, we're going to take the part of the temple best design for pumpkin pie. Last name all the athletes all the nations and we're going to say the hell with them. It's Jewish people first. We're going to line that up and use that the place to trade and make it easier for us to worship. It's really going to be about us the temples hours. And if this is what Jesus gets so angry about when he comes in and makes whips and the original Greek. He intentionally says down it's premeditated. He makes these whips and he drives them out of that part of the temple. He said don't you know that the scripture say my father's house is to be a house of prayer for all nations. We've been corrupt that inside 20-minute was prayer know he meant All Nations. That's what he was upset about that. The Jews are pushed out something just to church today sometime live for its. What's up with this is our Temple. This is our Synagogue Church building. We'll do it our way. We'll sing. Our songs will have it. Just the way we want it. Has the church crowded out effective evangelism in the past few decades.
Highway Iceland ourself from there the very people that Jesus went to We bought into the US and them thinking.
I mean sometimes and I'm at the time leading. So I'm not picking. I'm not saying all the problems you people out there in the church. You know, I'm just this pastor that can't get people to come along. I am part of the problem.
Cuz I slip into the same sort of thinking. Church not church. Those are inside those are out to who those these are the people I paid the only got the mail and I slip into the same sort of mistake. And then when you try to look at the gospels with fresh eyes, when you try to let go of the detours that we've sometime gone down as a way of inviting people to church or to Doctrine or just certain set of thinking instead of inviting people directly to Jesus. I mean sometimes I feel like we do we think Jesus can't handle himself. You know, if bronze fresh out of the world, I think we could go out run while we're going to let you meet Jesus. But first we got a whole system. You got to go through here. Okay, we got about thirty six classes. You got to take him to understand, you know how to conduct yourself in front of you. We don't want you know, you just may not get it until this whole week and set up all these barriers like the Pharisees and said of just trusting that Jesus. Knows what he's doing. Is more knowledgeable than us is what could Jesus handle a center? Is it handled all of us? Could we just introduce people to Jesus? Sometimes I again I'm preaching to myself as much as anybody sometimes I want systems. I want classes. I want certain understandings. I want we got to get some Doctrine lesson played out. You can't just go inviting every Tom Dick and Harry to follow Jesus. I mean first I got to come to church so I can learn how to dress like a learn how to worship. I mean if you just get this place filled with all kinds of people who don't really know Jesus yet. What's going to happen?
I mean, I remember I was in a church once where we had somebody like that in church and they started yelling Hallelujah and then the service. I mean we'd be doing are things in a prim and proper way and suddenly they be moved by the spirit that say Praise Jesus Hallelujah. The owners actually went to him and asked him to stop doing it. I know you don't you know the old joke feel joke as someone comes into church and does that Yellen Hallelujah and Praise Jesus over and over and over and finally the deacons come to her the ushers come to her and say man, you know, what you doing this, you know what has gotten into you and she said I just got Jesus, you know, and I said what you didn't get in here.
You know, sometimes we could we can slip into that sort of thing where we miss the Simplicity of the Gospel. So me at the top of the list what if we just looked at scripture and said scripture Is authoritative over us?
Over Robbie over what I've been taught and Seminary over what we've been taught in Sunday School. What we've been taught in life the church. It's amazing when you just look at scripture when you just look at John chapter 9. Pisces mate Matthew chapter 9 when Jesus was given the chance before we jump there. Let me let me lay a little more background when Jesus came and said I'm going to explain the truth about God. So the people are set free. He talked in metaphors over and over and over again. And again, he talked about God as father is that sound like a fair representation of the gospels again again, Luke 15 is a good example. It was a radical example because the Pharisee says why is he hanging out with the people he's hanging out with and so Jesus knew what was in their heart. We're told him look 50 here's a story for you to tell us the story of the prodigal son or is one author calls it the waiting father is really what the story is about. And he says this is what God is like he's like this father loves his son so much even the sun is gone away from him. It's in the far countries that sentence that's not the right kind of person. That's not a church person. That's not a synagogue person. That's a Lost Sinner a bold proud atheistic in your face. down with religion down with God Center and this is the father who loves them pounces on him when he comes home. Offers come right in ears the robe. Here's the ring. Let's have a party to celebrate it talk about God we talked about this a few months ago about God as Divine and that's being the branches and God is this life giving Gardener who sometimes prunes when we need that in our life, but it's all about us bearing fruit us being full of life. He talked about God being the shepherd and us being the Sheep again again a picture of this image of this loving Shepherd who would leave the 99 to find the one and carry this one back to the rest. And so he lays these foundations and all of his teaching. So here's the truth about God's we don't live in this universe that uncertain as if there's many gods and we got to make sure we're cover all of our bases and we don't live in this universe that the Pharisees have created. We're only some are in and not others and only those around the ones who get it just right to know all the rules to keep who somehow straighten them self up enough to be acceptable in my kingdoms because we know that's a lie, it's not possible Paul says in Romans 3 that all have sinned and fallen short all all Billy Graham Mother Teresa your mama your daddy your grandmother your sweet spouse. all have fallen short So we are all in these there's there's no system that we can create this. I will look Lord. We figured out we built our own Tower of Babel. We've climbed our way to the top through this sort of religious system. He says it's not even it's like saying, you know, you can jump across the ocean. Look Lord. I got 15 ft. And he only got 12 ft. What's going does it not even occur to you? It's not even possible in your wildest dreams that somehow we could orchestrate our own righteousness through our own behavior. Our own religion are on systems.
We see this being lived out when Jesus encounters Matthew.
Clearly in the world living by uncertainty and fear and manipulation and depression.
In Matthew chapter 9 it says Jesus went out from there. He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. Before we go further with remind ourselves. If you don't have this in your head what it meant that Matthew is described this way a tax collector in the Jewish culture with somebody who had rejected God who had rejected Judaism and Israel who it said I will not be wholly I will not even try to be. Holy. I will not even try to I won't go to the temple, I won't sacrifice because of what he embraced to be a tax collector. He made himself unclean. It wasn't even an option for him to live in any sort of semblance of faithfulness. I mean, he was the atheist who's riding the top 10 best seller book saying there is no God, there is no Christianity. He had rejected it all and not only that religious order betrayal. There was this political and National betrayal because Israel wasn't occupied land. Can you imagine if we were unoccupied land? We cannot get somebody could have said that for the public 20 years ago, and we just have to America. now it might not be so hard to imagine. being an occupied land
as a nation is we go away Full Throttle from the things that have made us great.
As we leave God behind and say we can handle it herself.
I can imagine a future this bigger than us. It's not so bizarre for me to imagine relating to the nation of Israel who been conquered by another nation and they were occupied by this other Nation or ran the girls town for occupied by this other nations. How would you feel about those who are occupying the land?
Who came out here properties that this looks good? I think I'll take it. You can live in the servants quarters and if I ever stop you on the street and tell you to carry something for me you carry it. That was the Roman rule over the Jewish people. and Matthew says to the occupiers Hey, what if I work for you? You could purchase this this privilege of being a tax collector on behalf of Rome. Until Matthew has done that. He's made his deal. And so he's this. Who is citizen who sits at a table at a bridge or somewhere like that with a couple Roman soldiers behind him? And as you come along Matthew who you knew Matthew who you grew up with Matthew who was supposed to know what is wrong with about it sitting there with a couple Roman soldiers. Give me your money. How much do you owe on what you got in your bag tax day and they collected on anything and everything that they want. Jesus comes along with these good God-fearing Israelites these things Jewish fishermen who are following him. As they went from there. I could just healing a man in Matthew not he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. imagine was just imagination but the other disciples may have just said That would have been there a reaction can't we take a wide path? I mean, this is like a Samaritan can't we take a wide path around this booth looked at what happens? Follow Me Jesus told him
so they encounter this tax collector and everything in them would say piss villain. No good and Jesus walks up to him.
Won't you come with us won't you follow me? Follow me? Partner wants a what gives him the right to say that Matthew can follow him. Now think about it. If you're at this point in the story as a disciple, you've not yet seen numerous Miracles. You've not yet seen the resurrection and even later when Peter would see the Miracles he would still deny Jesus and so just because you see that moment doesn't mean your faith is locked in at this moment. I think the disciples would have said who the heck do you think you are? So you can just disregard everything that we hold is our system and you can just say to this tax collector join us because when you say follow me, that means they're going to be no They're going to be with us.
Jesus it seems there's no hesitation. There's no hesitation that he would just say think about it what's missing from here? He didn't like we said about Brian pick on bright. You didn't say Matthew. Here's okay. You got it, man, long list of things you got to get straightened out before you can hang out with us or be seen with us or anything like that. Do any of the stuff that we would be tempted to think should be done in order for him to be invited along system. That system is almost unspoken. I mean think about it for a moment. Do you think most people you know who don't have any church background feel like they probably can't come to church
That's the unspoken system, right? I mean big and go to church Ben's a nice guy. You know, he's he's not got this whole list of things that I've got my life that I've done wrong and I've messed up churches for those nice people not for people like me. That was the Fair sickle system in the world of the church. The kingdom of God was for the Pharisees it was for us. It wasn't for tax collectors. I mean, this is ridiculous. And you Jesus walked right up and says follow me. And Matthew got up and followed him. So if is if it wasn't bad enough that Jesus came up and even spoke to a tax collector and said to him follow me Matthew got up and followed him. Honestly, honestly, there's a lot of people that we can invite the church and we probably don't want them to come. I mean can we really be honest? Have you invited you felt like you should but if they showed up you be like
You guys are going to stay with me or not know nothing about your time, but they're going to they're probably going to ask for more communion. If it's real. I mean, what are we going to do background? I was at a church in Pennsylvania that serve communion like real wine in the cops and you could say this, but you could see by some of the people lined up for this just can't be this has to be done and we all we got we got a system here. I think if Jesus came and operated among the church's least many of them today the way he did in the Gospels. We not form a committee and consider. Getting rid of him.
I used to I used to know I really think how could they have done that? How could they have done that have done that and the longer I live the more I thought you know, it's not so hard to imagine how they could have done that because he was threatening their complete worldview about who was good. And who wasn't and how you got in good standing with God and everything that I could have been I wanted to be but I know I can't do that so I didn't do it. And if he didn't think it's a follow me. And he really breaks all the rules so you can understand why the Pharisees even later In this passage. They start saying this is no we are not going to accept this. And you see this all throughout the gospels every time he does certain things. They say we need to eventually it swells to the point where they do or we going to get rid of this guy.
And I don't know that the church hasn't maybe gotten rid of Jesus today.
At least in some ways. I'm not trying to be mean and heavy-handed again. I'm preaching to myself at the top of this list. Do I sometimes push him out of my life?
Do I regulate some areas to none of his business?
Do I have certain things in place? And it's the way my universe works and I just don't want you to get he's just going to turn the whole car. I've got it all fixed and ordering. You're just going to mess it all up. Sometimes I think we can slip into that. But what did we say when we began this? What if we said scripture will be our Authority. And Jesus will be our Authority. And what we see him doing and modeling Will trump what we've been taught. Seeing all our lives growing up. What if we just accepted that he has the authority what if we look back through the resurrection at this moment and we say before we get too angry at him. He's the one that came out of the Grave. Oh, yeah. He's the one whom death had down on the ground with a boot on his neck. And everyone said he's out and 3 days later. He walked out saying by the way, I took care of death.
if he's that one, then we could we should probably pretty much say What do you say Lord? Not out of fear, just out all just out of okay, you're the one, you know.
While Jesus was having dinner at continues at Matthews House. And so we're going to jump into this next week. But immediately he's having dinner at Matthews House many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples immediately that he doesn't just he doesn't just go. Ok, Matthew if you'll just be discreet about it. If we can just be subtle you can hop in line here and we'll just move on cuz God likes to give Second Chances. He's a gracious God, but just keep it down and then we'll just move along and keep know she would do that, please Jesus. I wouldn't he just immediately at a big party full of tax collectors and sinners about this next week the Pharisees and he looks like and they start to say we're going to figure out what to do with them. But just focusing on this this morning as our ties our take away Jesus reveals God's invitation to everyone to follow him. You think that's a fair assessment of what happens in this passage? And we look at all the gospels. The invitation to follow God is for everyone. Everyone there's not church people and not trick people not in the kingdom of God. There's not good people and bad people. There's everyone there's that category that we talked about earlier that has fallen short of the glory of God. There's that all and Jesus models that God gives this invitation to follow him to all to all. To the person whose minds and thoughts have been raised in an Islamic faith. Who's willing to get in a plane?
And do what we saw happen in 9/11. Is the gospel for that person? It's not an s in them. Forgive us Lord when we make our national allegiances greater than the gospel itself.
If the gospels true, it's true in it. If every human being on the face of the Earth has only one Creator the one true God revealed in Scripture. And if every human on Face the Earth is part of that all that have fallen short then we are ambassadors to bring the gospel to all And Jesus models, is he reveals God's invitation to everyone. Even some of us here maybe thinking well, I know Brian he's a nice guy. He's the kind of guy that can go to church but I don't think that's okay for him, but you don't know my background. You don't know what I've done. You don't know what I've been through. I'm not that kind of person. Hey Jesus invitation is for everyone. A man everyone everyone including you. Sometimes you guys ever do this or you gracious with other people, but then you still think of yourself as the exception to the rule. Never play that little game in your mind, you know, somebody pulled up out of the gutter. They've they've destroyed their life with with bad behavior and they say I need Jesus and they give their testimony. And you said that's beautiful. That is awesome. Jesus saves baby. He says he restores he cleanses them but then secretly and your own heart and mind you think well, that's great. But he didn't nobody knows what I mean. I do bad stuff and I've done bad stuff. I've done bad stuff when I knew what I was doing with that. I mean right in the moment. I knew don't do this. Don't do this. Don't do this and I still just leapt right into it. And so we keep imagining that somehow when we say everyone is invited to follow Jesus that there are exceptions to that rule either exceptions that we can point out. I'm not going to go with that person because he or she is fill in the blank. We directed toward ourselves and say what God can do work with others, but he can't work with me because of my own struggles my own doubts my own sins, but Jesus models here and all throughout the gospels. I Caprice the same sermon a hundred times from the gospel don't you know that every page the gospel we can find Jesus inviting someone to follow him that everyone around says you can't talk to her. She's a Samaritan. You can't touch that person. He's a leper you can't be with that person again and again and again to the gospel Jesus displays this reality that the God's invitation is to everyone. I noticed these three things. It's Jesus first invitation. So he doesn't start by saying well, we got to get you cleaned up or you need to come to my class. I did the class on Tuesday nights on how to be a truly good follower of God, and I only want you get those his invitation right off the bat. He did. This is all his disciples follow me. I don't like you, but I'm convicted by that because it is so indoctrinated in me. Just think I need to get them to church. I need to get them in the Bible. I need to get them to have certain doctrines in their head or certain lessons in their head or certain understanding and then when I get them to believe in accordance with the things I think they should believe then they can follow Jesus and Jesus just just push that he's as following. I mean miss this tax collectors as follow me Macy's women that hate, you know, what kind of woman should follow me over and over and over it's his first invitation.
His grace covers all those things that we think I've got to get this in place first before I could even imagine following Jesus. How can I be next to Jesus? How can I hang out with him? I mean, he's holy and I'm on holy and yet he modeled again again in the gospels. He hung out with a very people that would say what he won't like me. I don't think I like him if he's like the Pharisees. Is he just kind of threw all that to the wind and made friends approach people with the authority? God In the Flesh Follow me. That's his first invitation and even for us this morning, there's some of us that I think are still kind of waiting to follow Jesus. I haven't gone to church long enough. I don't know my Bible well enough. I maybe I'm not equipped enough. And so I'll just need a few more weeks months years decades under my belt before I will step out and follow Jesus. His first invitation is follow me.
Because if you're following him, if you're with him, he's going to help you take care of those other things. Do you see how backwards it is in some ways to say Jesus? You're awesome. You created everything Colossians 1 tells us that I mean you put everything is held together and sustained by you. But before I follow you, let me go take care of some stuff as if he can't take care of it, you know, you got the whole universe altogether you probably all get this in order and then I'll be When he invites us to follow him, it's an amazing invitation and it's a personal invitation. Okay, so he's not inviting your family necessarily to follow him. That's their decision. He's not inviting your political party to follow him. He's not buying your background or your heritage your upbringing your city your sports team. I don't know what it is that we might think of as baggage that we think somehow. We don't know what to think. He's asking you. to follow him But if I follow Jesus, my husband is going to come he's not going to my wife will say you're my employer might you can't. That's not who you talkin to visit. He's inviting you and he's telling you there's no reason you can be stopped from following him. Send not struggle background. He sang follow me and it's an open invitation matter fact, it's going on right now. I'm going to write invite to worship him to come forward is it it's an invitation that never closes not in this lifetime. He is forever inviting us to follow him. I feel convicted that fair. I've been a pastor all these years and I still feel like there's a moment when Jesus says hey Robbie. Would you like to follow me? How can you say that to me? I've been following you. since I was 18 But I see blind spots in my life and I see ways in which a part of the system instead of following Jesus. And he meets me with his grace again and again and again. Honestly you spend time with Jesus and you realize how much he's working on your life. Hopefully it will Empower you to stop saying, you know, Gary. Here's the things you need to get right in your life. When I slip into just picking on other people what they're not quite doing right? Can you believe Robbie war that aren't in white shirt, you know, when when I take some of those things with seriousness that I've got to get everybody else in order around me. When I do that. It's probably my way of not listening to Jesus.
You know, he started middle of my heart and I don't like that. So I just soon find somebody else to pick on don't we do that your boss gives you a hard time to come home and kick the dog.
Sometimes we we do that sort of thing. We resist the way God's working our life and we start poking and prodding in the last of other that's even funnier to do it for those are outside the church altogether. I've been at churches where I mean, they literally what they wanted me to preach every Sunday. We need some good old-fashioned preaching and what they meant by good old-fashioned preaching what I would get up and say how bad everybody was that wasn't at church that morning. They love that all make it by feel so good out there in this world even pick a category political party or worldview or conservative vs. Liberal hot schools education. If you could just Champion or clobber this particular group or Advocate this particular thing and it became a way of not being in the presence of Jesus ourselves if we could just point at others. The truth is we've got this invitation and it's that simple to follow Jesus.
Nothing can stop you except. yourself
and when someone says what must I do to be saved what must I do to be a Christian. It's a simple thing follow Jesus Frank may be weaker up the process when we say what you need to come to church you need to go to a certain number lessons you got to do this that and the other because sometimes Christians to think o that's what I do has it ever has ever lived their entire life inside the church doing certain things and never actually follow Jesus
and preachers again. I'm not picking on you weird weird where the Champions at it baby. We can go to school for decades in preparation for one day actually doing something. That's why I hear that call where Jesus says to me. Follow me. If you've never made that decision As we sing this song I pray that you'll make that decision. I'll be in the back. You can come to me. I'll pray with you answer questions. You have will be other folks are protein both in the front and the back if you got that decision to make we want to celebrate that with you or if you got prayer concerns or if you know, I'm following Jesus, but I know there's things I'm holding back and you want to pray about that. We want to play with you if we're all in the same boat. Nobody who you pray with is going to say, I can't believe that I would never have that problem. We've all got the same. We want to say. Hey, that's half the time. Somebody said something Lord. Let us both let us both get better. Let's open our hearts this let you lead in this area of our life. And so take this song. to kind of let go of all the other stuff is sometimes we crawled in and then label religion and just just invite Jesus. To hear you say yes. I want to I want to follow you. Please stand this we sing.
