2. Who can use your Faith?
There isn’t just purpose where you’re going but there is a “who”
JESUS had to go to the well for a women who has tried so hard to fix her life that she had tried 5 different husbands and now has a side-piece. Trying to avoid the entire world at noon at the well.
There is a ONE who God has called you to
3. What have you been thru that can help someone else break thru?
John 4:28-42
Jesus used a 5 time divorcee to change a city. And by the way. He didn’t ask her to stop dating. Or break up. Jesus said “whosoever” and he meant “whosoever”
It must be real if it’s her!!!! She has a bad reputation.
It’s not about you!!!! It’s why you were born and why you have gone thru what you’ve gone thru
God uses “whosoever” to reach “whosoevers”

Every Step Counts: Carrying Out Your Ministry

Summary: This theme emphasizes the importance of faithfully executing the unique calling and responsibilities each believer has in their ministry, highlighting the need for dedication, resilience, and reliance on God.
Application: This sermon could inspire Christians to actively engage in their ministry roles, no matter how small, and to trust in God's strength to overcome obstacles in their service. It shows that every effort made in ministry, regardless of how it appears, is valuable in the kingdom of God.
Teaching: The sermon teaches that ministry is not just about big successes, but about the small, consistent acts of faithfulness that contribute to the larger purpose of God’s mission. Believers are encouraged to recognize their role and the impact of their service.
How this passage could point to Christ: Throughout Scripture, we see Christ exemplifying perfect ministry. His life illustrates what it means to serve faithfully, endure trials, and trust in the Father’s plan. Every act of ministry points back to Him, for He is the ultimate minister who equips us to continue His work on earth.
Big Idea: Faithful ministry is a collective effort, where every step, no matter how small, is significant in advancing God's kingdom, as we draw strength from Christ to fulfill our calling.
Recommended Study: I suggest exploring various biblical characters who exemplified faithfulness in their ministry roles, using your Logos library to analyze texts related to their callings. Look for exegetical insights and illustrations drawn from passages like the Parables of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), emphasizing the importance of stewardship in ministry. Additionally, consider studying relevant commentaries on the early church's efforts in Acts to highlight practical applications of carrying out ministry.

1. Embrace Your Ministry Mandate

Matthew 25:14-18
You could explore how Jesus' parable teaches us that ministry involves taking responsibility for what God has entrusted to us. Highlight that each person's calling and role might differ, but every task is vital in God's kingdom. Emphasize that we are called to be faithful stewards of our gifts, using them for His glory rather than hiding or neglecting them. Encourage your congregation to trust in God's provision and timing as they commit to their ministry roles, remembering that every action taken in service, no matter how small, contributes to His greater plan.

2. Endorse Your Faithful Efforts

Matthew 25:19-23
Perhaps delve into the faithfulness displayed by the servants who multiplied their master's talents, showing that diligence and dedication in ministry are rewarded. This section suggests that consistent, faithful actions are seen and valued by God. Reinforce that our aim is to hear 'Well done, good and faithful servant' from our Savior. Challenge believers to persevere and maintain their passion for serving others, trusting that their efforts, seen or unseen, play a crucial role in God's unfolding story of redemption.

3. Engage in Courageous Service

Matthew 25:24-30
Maybe contrast the consequences faced by the servant who buried his talent with those who embraced their responsibilities. This serves as a cautionary message about the dangers of fear and inaction in ministry. Encourage the congregation to overcome any apprehension by leaning into Christ’s strength, knowing He is ever-present to guide and empower them. Remind them that when we focus on our limitations, we miss opportunities to witness God's transformative power at work through us. Urge Christians to step out in faith, using their gifts boldly and intentionally.
