Humility

Humility is to make a right estimate of oneself. It is no humility for a man to think less of himself than he ought.
Charles Spurgeon
5992 Because Christ Jesus came to the world clothed in humility, he will always be found among those who are clothed with humility. He will be found among the humble people.
A. W. Tozer
For those who would learn God’s ways, humility is the first thing, humility is the second, humility is the third.
Saint Augustine of Hippo
A famous painter was once asked to describe his secret for such beautiful art. He replied, 'I keep a big mirror in my studio. Every time I think I'm great, I take a look at my reflection.' Similarly, humility is recognizing our limitations and faults, but it allows us to grow and improve without overestimating our own achievements.
Colossians 3:12 (NIV): 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
The New International Version (Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 2011), Col 3:12.
