Experiencing God as He Intended
Introduction:
Introduction:
Church, today is not just about information—it’s about transformation. We are here to talk about who we are as Experience Church—our vision, our mission, and our core values—but even more than that, we are here to ask the question:
Are we truly experiencing everything that God says is normal for a believer?
Because what some would call revival, the Bible calls Christianity.
We were never meant to live a half-hearted, powerless, go-through-the-motions kind of faith. No, Jesus saved us, filled us with His Spirit, and called us to live in the supernatural reality of the Kingdom every single day!
So today, I want to challenge you:
To live the fullness of what the Word of God says is possible.
To step into true biblical Christianity—not watered down, not passive, but fully alive!
To make a decision today that you won’t settle for anything less than God’s best.
Let’s go to the Word.
I. The Vision: We Were Made to Encounter God Fully
I. The Vision: We Were Made to Encounter God Fully
Vision of Experience Church:
Vision of Experience Church:
"Experience Church exists to lead people into encounters with God, empower the Church through intentional equipping, and reach the world with the hope of Jesus."
This is not just a statement—it’s our DNA.
We are called to be a church where people don’t just hear about God, they experience Him.
Acts 2:17 “‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.”
The early church didn’t just talk about God; they knew Him intimately and saw Him move daily!
But here’s the issue:
Too many Christians live beneath their calling:
They believe in God but don’t experience Him.
They read the Bible but don’t expect it to come alive in their lives.
They go to church but never truly encounter His power.
Today, let’s make a decision: We will not be content with anything less than everything God has for us!
II. The Mission: We Are Called to Live It Out
II. The Mission: We Are Called to Live It Out
Mission of Experience Church:
Mission of Experience Church:
"Our mission is to glorify Jesus, host His presence, and equip believers to walk in His power—transforming lives, shaping culture, and bringing Heaven to Earth."
Christianity is not about standing still—it’s about growing!
We are either moving closer to God or drifting away—there is no neutral ground.
Philippians 3:14 “I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”
Paul said, I press on.
Not I sit back.
Not I wait for something to happen.
But I take action.
Some say, “We need revival.”
NO! We need to start walking in what revival is supposed to be—a normal Christian life!
John 14:12 ““I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”
That’s our mission: To live a faith that is ALIVE—marked by love, power, and obedience!
Challenge:
Challenge:
Are you moving forward in faith?
Is your relationship with Jesus growing, or are you coasting?
Are you seeing His power in your life?
Are you living in obedience to His Word?
James 2:17 “So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.”
Today, let’s make a decision: We will grow. We will step out. We will obey.
III. Our Core Values: The Culture of the Kingdom
III. Our Core Values: The Culture of the Kingdom
Every church has a culture. The world has a culture.
But our culture must reflect Heaven!
Core Values of Experience Church
Core Values of Experience Church
Encounter God
Encounter God
Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”
We exist to prioritize His presence—creating an atmosphere where people experience God through passionate worship, fervent prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. His presence is not an event; it’s our lifestyle.
Kingdom Family
Kingdom Family
Ephesians 2:19 “So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.”
We are more than a gathering; we are a family. Every generation, every person belongs.
Transformation & Discipleship
Transformation & Discipleship
Romans 12:2 “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
We exist to see lives radically changed by Jesus and to disciple believers to walk in the fullness of God’s authority.
Outreach & Evangelism
Outreach & Evangelism
Matthew 28:19 “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
We don’t just exist inside four walls. We actively engage culture, demonstrating the Gospel through love, service, and action.
Radical Generosity
Radical Generosity
2 Corinthians 9:6 “Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.”
We give sacrificially—our time, resources, and talents—to bless our community and advance the Kingdom. Generosity is not an obligation; it’s an honor.
Empowered Leadership
Empowered Leadership
2 Timothy 2:2 “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.”
We develop and release bold, anointed leaders who disciple nations.
Kingdom Expansion
Kingdom Expansion
Isaiah 54:2–3 ““Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.”
Our mission is bigger than building a church—it’s about multiplication, church planting, and impacting the world with the Gospel.
Excellence & Integrity
Excellence & Integrity
Colossians 3:23 “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
We don’t pursue perfection; we pursue excellence—honoring God and people with integrity.
Challenge:
Challenge:
Does your life reflect Kingdom culture?
Are you more focused on performance or His presence?
Is your faith moving or standing still?
Are you bold in your faith or afraid of what others think?
Do you live with expectation for God to move?
Do you love others like Jesus loves you?
Today, let’s make a decision: We will be a church that lives out the culture of the Kingdom!
Conclusion: A Call to Action
Conclusion: A Call to Action
Church, we are not here to play religious games.
The world doesn’t need another church that just meets on Sundays.
The world needs a church that is alive—full of love, full of power, full of God!
Romans 8:19 “For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.”
The world is waiting for real Christians to rise up.
Not church attenders.
Not religious spectators.
But sons and daughters of God walking in power!
Today, let’s make a decision: We will not settle. We will not hold back. We will live the full Christian life as God intended!
Who’s ready? Let’s go all in!
