Mathew 13:47-51

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
King James Version Chapter 13
this parable is not about end-time harvest, not about end-time revival but about the end-time judgment that there will be a day that man will be gathered from the place they have hidden themselves God will grab them and bring them forth to judgment
King James Version Chapter 13
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
Jesus wants us to understand that there will be a judgment for everybody he speaks that when the net was brought forth there was a prepared vessel made by hands. They took that fish and put it in the prepared vessel.
One day, we will all die. Today, I am a dying man teaching to dying people. Time stops for no one.
The parable we read from our text reveals that not everyone will be saved, and there will be a final judgment, a separation of the just and the unjust.
This book contains the most wonderful truths of life, revealing the pathway to unspeakable happiness, peace, and joy. However, let's not forget that there are also troubling warnings that are heaven-sent.
Jesus preached more than any other prophet or preacher in the Bible combined about a place called hell.
There will be two main points in this lesson today, so if you will stay with me...
Not everyone will be saved. More will be lost than saved.
Mathew 7:13 - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: if we go on to verse 14 it says “ Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it”.
If the righteous scarcely be saved, then not everyone will be saved."
Some expect to be saved, but in the end, they will be lost. Matthew 7:21 says, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
It’s more than just what you say—it’s what you do. It’s how you live your life.
It’s not just about calling upon His name and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior.
This passage reveals the impossibility of being saved by mere words alone.
He said many will come unto me in that day and say, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? And in Thy name cast out devils, and in Thy name done many powerful works?” They called on His name, yet they were not saved.
He said, “Then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work in iniquity.”
There are many people in this world who believe they will go to heaven and others who think there is no hell. But I want to tell you this morning, the lack of belief in hell will not prevent a single person from going there.
After time runs out, that’s it—there are no second chances. The devil will try to deceive us and tell us there is, but once you take your last breath, your book is closed, and your time is up. Whatever is done will be done forever.
Everyone under the sound of my voice should accept the fact that you will live forever. You will spend eternity in one of two places: heaven or hell.
Hell is, in fact, a real place. It is not a state of being. It is not a fable. Don’t live your life believing the lie that hell is not real.
The strongest words about hell in the Bible came from the lips of Jesus, the one who died for us so that we wouldn’t have to go there.
Can I tell you this morning that there are people who have known the name of Jesus and have been filled with the Holy Spirit, but have chosen to live a life that has led them to hell?
Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Mathew 10:20 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Telling us that it is a place where the soul and body are destroyed
Revelation 14:11 “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”
Jesus himself said it would be better to cut off your hands and your feet and pluck out your eyes than it is for you to go to hell.
I believe it’s safe to say that you better do whatever you need to do to never find yourself in hell. You better go to whatever extreme is necessary to avoid the fire that will never be quenched.
I firmly believe that if you go to hell, you will remember every sermon you heard, every opportunity you had to change your life, and every time somebody, with tears in their eyes, begged you to do right and live right.
I want you to know that if you find yourself in hell, you may never have had a prayer life, but I believe you’ll learn how to pray in hell. Yet, in all your prayers, no matter the consistency of them, you’ll never feel His presence, and your prayers will never be answered. Yet, you will still pray.
Hell is darker than the darkness we know. It is a place completely devoid of the presence of God.
It is a place with no mercy, no hope—a place where everyone who is there recognizes the decisions that got them there.
I want to tell you that the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah are there. They gave themselves over to wickedness and immorality. They perverted the natural order and plan of God as they burned in their lust for one another.
They had no fear of God. They lived their lives fulfilling their wicked desires. For them, eternity began when life ended. And when they prayed for death to take them as it did in life, death remained silent. It never answered their call.
Pharaoh is there, remembering every plague and every opportunity he had to surrender his will and repent before the God of heaven and earth.
I want to tell you this morning that hell is not so much a place that God prepared for man, but a place that man prepared for himself.
It is unnatural and inconceivable for any man to be cast into hell.
It is not the will of God, and it is most certainly not the plan of God.
He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
No matter how corrupt a man’s life may be, hell was never a place that God made for you.
No matter How many times the Devil wins in your battles Hell is Not made for you saint. The Devil is strong but you have to come to grips that the Devil is not made to bully you and control you up to the rapture. God created you to live forever but not bound in sin and not in chains with the devil.
Matthew 25:41 says, “Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.”
Friend, if you go to hell, it’s because you chose it. If you go, you will go as an unwelcome guest, because it was never designed for your soul.
God created none of you predestined for damnation.
You can be saved. You must accept that Calvary is a finished work.
You have a choice today, but I’ll tell you, there’s only one place prepared for you. Though you cannot go to heaven just because you don’t want to go to hell or because you don’t want to be lost, you have to have a desire in your heart to follow God and live with Him day by day.
Romans 1:28–32 “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.”
So, for the remainder of this lesson, I want to talk to you about the place that has been prepared for you.
John 14:1–3 says, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
Daniel 7:27-28 says, “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the highest, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Hitherto is the end of the matter.”
God built heaven with you in mind. You’ve got to hang in there because there is a place that was built for you.
A place that we have the key to if only we can use it to unlock the door and not hide the key or keep the door locked.
God loves you. He wants you to have eternal life with him. Don't be afraid to live a Holy life now because the reward of it will be a life of peace and love.
A time of joy, peace, love, and awe.
A place where there is no pain, no sadness, no evil, no depression, or anxiety.
You have a decision to make today and every day: Am I going to turn my heart to God and live a life that is pleasing to Him?
You don’t have to live a life of torment and darkness.
I know it’s a big decision, and we all fall short of the glory of God. But the Bible says, and I was reminded the other day by a man in this room, that a righteous man falls, but he gets back up.
No matter your sin, no matter your past, you must get back up.
Judas was a disciple of Jesus. He saw Jesus perform miracles and cast out demons. He was the treasurer for the twelve disciples he was responsible of the money.
Judas couldn’t get out of his self-greed and wanted something that meant nothing in the end. Judas betrayed Jesus for something that controlled him even after seeing the power of Jesus. The march to the garden of Gethsemane and after all was done the guilt he felt led him to death he took the silver gave it back and hung himself.
Judas went to the place that was meant for him, as John said.
I’m here to ask you today: Are you willing to give up the most perfect, beautiful, and wonderful place that God has for you?
Heaven is the place that People used to always talk about. It may not be heard as it was in the early days but what it holds is far beyond what hell will give you. Heaven should be your eternal home.
Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Revelation 21:21–25 “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb is the temple of it. And the city did not need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.”
You will have free will throughout this life but don’t use it the wrong way. Don’t hide yourself from God. Don’t be the one who waits last second to ask for forgiveness. Don’t die without knowing that bible line upon line precept upon precept. Don’t die without knowing who God is and was. Take your life right now
the sacrifices that we children of God make are valid. Don’t think you aren’t doing it for no reason. Don’t think for one second you should give up this lifestyle of holiness, of separation, and most of all don’t give up on your walk with God we are all on different journeys but don’t walk out don't give up.
There’s a purpose behind all of this. Parents there is a purpose and a reason for raising your kids in church. There is a purpose in having a divine relationship with GOD even when you feel like giving up.
He Promised you all of heaven's secrets but there’s only one way to get to those promises. As well as we must be faithful to God for us to obtain those promises. Those are heavenly realms up there.
You must truly desire heaven it’s a place where we can be with Jesus.
There will be a change that comes. There will be A change!!! It won't always be cruel and cruel it won't always be scary and imperfect or broken.
When Jesus died on the cross and when he said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. I realize that the people didn’t know what they were doing because they didn’t know that was indeed the true son of God.
I also believe he said that as a cry out to God to have mercy on them as if he were saying God don’t let them die and go to hell. It’s not biblical just my opinion.
I believe this morning that we are in a generation that isn’t focused on where they will end up but more focused on the trend of today and more focused on what happening tomorrow if God were to come back today or tomorrow or any day fairly soon would you be scared or would you be exited?
The days are short and I believe that we are getting closer and closer to the end time and there is no time to waste or to sit still.
You have to get to that point in your spirtual walk with God that makes you put your foot down and live for God with authority and with declaration. you have to want it. change wont happen if nothing changes.
what are you saying bro. seth? Im saying don’t live your life like you know your going to hell that shouldn’t even be a thing but live your life like your going to Heaven. Bring forth the personal convictions, make those sacrifices in your time through out the time to do something spirtually. Deepin your relationship with God.
Most people these days they think that they’re too far gone that they can’t repent and turn away from their sin and enter into those pearly gates, so what they do is they keep setting themselves up for failure and they say well. I know I’m going to hell so I’m just gonna keep on doing this. I’m just gonna keep on doing that they have no knowledge of God.
They don’t understand his power. They don’t understand his mercy so they sit there in their in their struggle and then their pain and then their sin and they use the excuse of I’m too far gone. I can’t save me. I’m I’m 4050. I’m 6070 years old. I live my whole life in trouble and in sin it’s too late I might as well just finish my life with the same old same old, but can I tell you this morning that God can turn your life around.
like I said earlier in this lesson you’re putting yourself up for failure God won’t send you to hell you send yourself to hell he’s ordering your steps, but what it is is throughout life you get one step out of his will and you start running this marathon and you never stop running you never stop running and finally you’re so far away from God that you just think that he won’t have mercy on you, but if the Bible says that God will never leave you you forsake you that means he still wants something with you.
He still wants a friendship. He still wants a relationship with you. he still wants to be your father that you love dearly and a  father will forgive you.
You can change for your good today and why do I say you're good because once there is a change in your life in how you live, how you walk talk dress act God will see those changes and will bless you and keep you.
There is a Holy ground that is waiting for you. A place prepared for you and the best part about it all is that Jesus is there.
The king of kings and the lord of lords you’ll be able to see him and his Glory and you will bow down before him and sing Holy Holy Holy.
Heaven is Real it’s not something people used to talk about and sing about and worship about for no reason.
They believed that they will be walking on the streets of gold they believe that there is a mansion in heaven with they’re name all over it. and weather or not you believe it there is a mansion with your name on it and that place called heaven is waiting for you.
the problem with today is we worry too much about the devil and about hell. i’m not saying we shouldn’t and i’m not saying that the devil cant do us no harm but what if we focused more on going to heaven than we did worrying about hell or how the devil will try to get us today.
you have to surrender your doubt and your fear and just know that God will provide the way that you need to take. break into your new destiny of faith in believing in a heaven believing that heaven is a place for you for eternity.
The enemy will always attack but the enemy won’t always win. You need to have the fighting spirit that God has given you to be victorious in your battles with the enemy. Don’t go searching for a battle.
when we keep winning our battles with the lord beside us it won’t only give us victory in that certain battle but it will give us victory over the devil.
Don’t let the enemy take control over your thoughts and your life like he did with Judas and betray God or do something that you will feel guilty about and regret it and have to face him with it sooner or later.
Be victorious in your battles with the enemy. Don’t you forget who is on your side until your finished destination.

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit yall things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and emurderers, and fwhoremongers, and gsorcerers, and idolaters, and hall liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 uOn the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, jsapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, oberyl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for xthe glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, zbehold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
