Psalm 1:1–3 NLT

Patience- Starts with waiting on God

James 5:7 NLT

7 Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.

8 You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.

Patience is a product of living out God’s PURPOSE which is produced by PRIORITIZING Christ in our life.

-It’s actually backwards- If you want patience you come at it from the inside not the outside.

Hebrews 11:35–39 (NLT)

35 But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection. 36 Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons. 37 Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword.
