Church,
As you attempt to stay warm in this polar vortex weather we are having, it hit me this morning I haven’t sent out the midweek thoughts.
Sunday we looked at Noah and the Flood and the Ark and of course the Bow set in the sky after it rains. I am reminded that Noah walked with God through it all. Church, that is where the rubber meets the road for us. We must be walking with God to put into action the things we have read about God.
This morning I was reminded and urged to read Ps 46:10, which calls us to be still in an ever busy and hustle society we currently live in. To walk with God is to slow down, to be still, to trust in the Lord whilst he still. Also to know that you don’t need to be in the hustle and busyness but to rest and trust in the Lord. Believe you me, I know that is difficult but that is what we are called to do. This is putting the Word of God into action in our personal lives. This is what it is to walk with God in a busy and not good world much like Noah did.
