Revelation Chapter 1

(Rev 1:1) The Unveiling of Jesus the Messiah:

What was hidden will now be revealed. (Mark 13:32 is now known to the Son)

This is what is going to take place. With prophecy, there is often a near future fulfillment along with a “end of time” or “Day of the Lord” fulfillment.

(Rev 1:3) A special blessing is given to:

the reader

the listener

the one who keeps what is written intact

(Rev 1:19) Revelation in 3 parts:

What was seen (Revelation 1)

What is (Revelation 2-3)

What is to take place (Revelation 4-21)
