The world had been cursed by the sin of man. Sin has destroy the beauty of God’s creations. It is the choice human made. But God’s intentions is want to restore and be reconciled with human.

We believers are adopted, redeemed and forgiven experiencing peace and transformation as they embrace their new identities as family of God. So we need to be united as Paul emphasise in The Book of Ephesians.

We need to be on in hope in Christ and in the Spirit.

How we are Christians Should Live

Walk in manner worthy of the calling with humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love.

Being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the Bond of peace.

Every Christians are called in one body and one Hope. As in one body, we must work together in one Spirit. So if we led by the spirit. We have same hope and love.

ROH KUDUS MEMBAWA KITA DALAM KESATUAN

Efesus 4:1-6

Pengantar

Surat Efesus ditulis oleh Rasul Paulus saat ia berada dalam penjara di Roma. Surat ini ditujukan kepada jemaat di Efesus, yang merupakan kota besar di Asia Kecil dengan komunitas Kristen yang terdiri dari orang Yahudi dan non-Yahudi. Paulus menekankan bahwa dalam Kristus, semua orang percaya telah dipersatukan dalam satu tubuh, yaitu gereja.

Tema besar dalam surat Efesus adalah rekonsiliasi kosmik dalam Kristus, di mana Allah memiliki rencana untuk menyatukan segala sesuatu di bawah otoritas Yesus. Bagi kita di GSJA Calvary Family, pesan ini sangat relevan. Kita ingin menjadi jemaat yang missioner dan berdampak, kita mejadi agen rekonsiliasi orang-orang dengan Kristus, tetapi itu hanya bisa terjadi jika kita hidup dalam kesatuan yang dipimpin oleh Roh Kudus. Tanpa kesatuan, misi gereja akan terhambat, dan kita tidak bisa menjadi saksi Kristus yang efektif.

Bagaimana kita bisa hidup dalam kesatuan yang dipimpin oleh Roh Kudus? Mari kita lihat tiga langkah yang dapat kita praktikkan bersama.

1. Hidup dalam Kerendahan Hati dan Kasih

"Hendaklah kamu selalu rendah hati, lemah lembut, dan sabar. Tunjukkanlah kasihmu dalam hal saling membantu."(Efesus 4:2)

Kesatuan tidak terjadi secara otomatis. Paulus menegaskan bahwa untuk hidup dalam kesatuan, kita harus rendah hati, lemah lembut, dan sabar.

🔹 Kerendahan hati berarti kita tidak menganggap diri lebih penting dari orang lain. Di gereja, tidak ada tempat untuk ego dan persaingan. 🔹 Lemah lembut berarti kita tidak mudah tersinggung atau marah terhadap saudara seiman kita. 🔹 Sabar berarti kita belajar menerima kelemahan orang lain dan memberi ruang bagi pertumbuhan mereka.

✅ Aplikasi untuk Jemaat GSJA Calvary Family:

Dalam pelayanan, jangan mencari penghormatan, tetapi jadilah berkat.

Jika ada perbedaan pendapat, utamakan kasih dan bukan emosi.

Jika saudara kita lemah dalam iman, jangan menghakimi, tetapi tuntun dengan kasih.

💡 Refleksi: Apakah saya sudah hidup dalam kerendahan hati dan kasih dalam komunitas gereja? Bagaimana saya bisa lebih bersabar terhadap sesama jemaat?

2. Menjaga Kesatuan dalam Roh dan Iman

"Berusahalah memelihara kesatuan Roh oleh ikatan damai sejahtera: satu tubuh, satu Roh, satu pengharapan, satu Tuhan, satu iman, satu baptisan, satu Allah dan Bapa dari semua." (Efesus 4:3-6)

Kesatuan bukan berarti semua orang harus memiliki pendapat yang sama, tetapi berarti kita memiliki satu tujuan yang sama di dalam Kristus. Paulus menekankan bahwa kesatuan itu terjadi karena kita memiliki: 1️⃣ Satu tubuh → Gereja adalah satu tubuh Kristus, tidak boleh ada perpecahan. 2️⃣ Satu Roh → Roh Kudus yang sama tinggal dalam setiap kita, mengarahkan kita kepada kehendak Tuhan. 3️⃣ Satu pengharapan → Kita semua menantikan penggenapan janji Tuhan dalam hidup kita. 4️⃣ Satu Tuhan, satu iman, satu baptisan → Yesus adalah pusat dari iman kita.

✅ Aplikasi untuk Jemaat GSJA Calvary Family:

Setiap jemaat harus melihat dirinya sebagai bagian dari tubuh Kristus. Tidak ada yang lebih penting atau lebih kecil.

Berhenti mencari perbedaan yang memecah, tetapi carilah kesamaan yang menyatukan.

Aktif dalam KKA (Kelompok Keluarga Allah) dan pelayanan gereja untuk memperkuat ikatan persaudaraan.

💡 Refleksi: Apakah saya sudah berkontribusi untuk menjaga kesatuan gereja? Bagaimana saya bisa lebih aktif dalam membangun komunitas yang solid di GSJA Calvary Family?

3. Hidup dalam Identitas Baru sebagai Keluarga Allah

"Kamu yang dahulu jauh, sekarang telah didekatkan oleh darah Kristus." (Efesus 2:13)

Dalam Kristus, kita bukan lagi orang asing atau musuh Allah, tetapi kita telah diadopsi sebagai anak-anak-Nya. Kita telah ditebus, diampuni, dan diberikan identitas baru sebagai keluarga Allah.

Paulus ingin jemaat Efesus memahami bahwa gereja bukan sekadar tempat ibadah, tetapi keluarga rohani yang harus hidup dalam kasih dan persatuan. Kesatuan dalam gereja bukan hanya soal teologi, tetapi juga soal hubungan yang sehat dan erat sebagai saudara seiman.

Anggap gereja sebagai rumah rohani, bukan hanya tempat singgah setiap minggu.

Jangan hanya datang ibadah lalu pulang, tetapi terlibat dalam komunitas gereja.

Dukung saudara seiman dalam doa dan tindakan nyata, terutama bagi mereka yang sedang mengalami kesulitan.

💡 Refleksi: Apakah saya melihat gereja sebagai keluarga rohani saya? Bagaimana saya bisa lebih mendukung saudara seiman saya dalam kasih Kristus?

Kesimpulan: Dipimpin Roh Kudus Menuju Kesatuan

Kesatuan adalah hasil dari karya Roh Kudus dalam gereja. Sebagai jemaat GSJA Calvary Family, kita ingin menjadi gereja yang missioner dan berdampak, dan itu hanya bisa terjadi jika kita hidup dalam kesatuan yang dipimpin oleh Roh Kudus.

📌 Langkah-langkah yang bisa kita lakukan:

Hidup dalam kerendahan hati dan kasih → Jangan cari kehormatan, tapi jadilah berkat.

Menjaga kesatuan dalam Roh dan iman → Berhenti mencari perbedaan yang memecah, tapi carilah kesamaan yang menyatukan.

Hidup dalam identitas baru sebagai keluarga Allah → Anggap gereja sebagai rumah rohani, bukan hanya tempat singgah.

Ketika kita bersatu, kita akan semakin kuat dan siap untuk melaksanakan visi gereja: Menjadi Jemaat yang Missioner dan Berdampak!
