1. The Church

What It Is: The Church is a group of people who trust in Jesus, saved by His grace, and gathered together—either locally or as all believers everywhere.
Purpose: To worship God, share the Gospel, and help each other grow in faith.
Leadership: Led by pastors and deacons, but Jesus is the true head.
Membership: For those who believe in Jesus and are baptized.

2. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

Baptism:

A symbol of trusting Jesus, showing His death, burial, and resurrection.
Done by dipping in water after someone believes—not for babies or to save them.

Lord’s Supper:

A way to remember Jesus’ death—using bread (His body) and juice (His blood).
For believers only, to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice until He returns.

Both:

Acts of obedience, not ways to earn salvation.

3. The Lord’s Day

What It Is: Sunday, the first day of the week.
Why It Matters: Celebrates Jesus rising from the dead.
What We Do: Worship, rest, and focus on God together.

4. The Kingdom

What It Is: God’s rule over everything—His creation and His people.
Now: Believers live under God’s reign in their hearts and the Church.
Future: Jesus will return to make God’s Kingdom complete on earth.
Our Role: Pray and work for God’s will to be done.

5. Last Things

Jesus’ Return: He will come back personally and visibly one day.
Judgment: Everyone will face God—believers to eternal life, unbelievers to eternal punishment.
New Heaven and Earth: God will fix the world, and believers will live with Him forever.
Hope: Encourages us to be ready and share the Gospel.
