v. 22 | 
This is a general principle for retribution, that God rewards those who live in a righteous way. 
v. 23 | 
For the fool, doing wrong is nothing. It doesn’t matter and has no effect on them or others. They just do wrong flippantly. 
On the other side, the man who is wise finds great pleasure in being understanding. He takes value in doing right and avoiding wrong. 
v. 24-25 |
The wicked - Falls to the thing that they dread the most. Perishes when the storm confronts them. 
The righteous - Is given that which they desire. 
In contrast, the wicked do not get what they desire and the righteous are not met by what they dread. 
v. 26 |
The lazy person is categorized here as those that are wicked.
