Title: Living in the Revelation of Christ
Text: John 14:19-20
"Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you."
I. The Key to Experiencing This Truth
I. The Key to Experiencing This Truth
Before we can walk in the revelation of this scripture, we must first emulate what Jesus did.
Romans 12:1 – Offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.
John 2:22 – The disciples did not fully understand the meaning of Jesus' death and resurrection until after it happened.
The resurrected life of Jesus is now our life.
II. Living as Expressions of God
II. Living as Expressions of God
We are living expressions of God's will on earth.
You are God's expressed thought for a problem that exists in the world.
To fully live in this revelation, we must submit to the King completely.
What does full submission look like?
John 14:15 – If you love me, keep my commandments.
Love and obedience go hand in hand.
Jesus Himself modeled this in John 14:10 – The Father, living in me, is doing His work.
III. Delegation: The Kingdom Assignment
III. Delegation: The Kingdom Assignment
John 14:12-14 – Jesus was training the disciples to operate as Kingdom delegates.
Delegation is entrusting authority to another as a representative.
True Kingdom delegation comes with authority, responsibility, obligation, and accountability.
Exodus 3:11-14 – Moses questioned his ability, but God revealed His name, I AM, showing that God’s power, not Moses’ strength, would accomplish the task.
Exodus 4:12 – Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what to say.
When God sends us, He equips us!
IV. Expect Resistance, but Stand in Authority
IV. Expect Resistance, but Stand in Authority
As we walk in Kingdom authority, resistance will come.
John 14:29-30 – Jesus warned that the prince of this world is coming, but he has no hold over Him.
Just as Jesus was untouchable in His divine purpose, we must stand firm in our identity in Christ.
Conclusion: Walking in Kingdom Reality
Conclusion: Walking in Kingdom Reality
Living in Christ means living in obedience, authority, and mission.
Because He lives, we also live—not just for ourselves, but as His ambassadors.
Are you walking in the fullness of this revelation?
Will you fully submit to the King and step into your divine delegation?
